Incredible food. Only slightly over zealous waiter, "selling" the appetizers, desserts, wines, specials. Following a script, it seemed.
As always, La Strada has great wine, food, and service.
Food great. They need to work on timing and communicate with each other. One example - we receive our drink order twice from 2 people, then waiter seemed annoy after it happened and took one away saying he didn't know why it came because it went to the wrong table. Yea I'm sure someone else ordered the exact same thing as we did.
Our dining experience at La Strada was way above par for typical casino food. Everything we had was excellent. The service was amazing. I tried the $40/person 4 course chef's choice dinner and it was really fun. Letting the whim of this fantastic chef dictate the meal. So many times we have gone to casinos and were gravely dissapointed, where they over promise and under deliver. When we return to Reno a visit to La Strada will be on our list of places to dine.
As always, our experience at La Strada was wonderful. Michael our waiter always takes care of us. I would highly recommend this restaurant for truly authentic Italian food.

Love LaStrada! Everyone we go, I want to make reservations to come right back! The mushroom ravioli is, of course, wonderful! LaSrada had it years ago before anyone else caught on to the idea! It's always tempting to order it because it is SO good. But this time, the four of us ordered the appetizer portion to share. We got our "fix", but left room for other entrees. Our dinner party of 8 had the Chef Surprise. Dining at La Strada is always a treat, but Chef Ivano and his staff outdid themselves for us. This dinner was truly a taste extravaganza. Bravo!!!
Whenever we are visiting Reno (and we always stay at the El Dorado Hotel (it's fabulous!),we have at least one dinner at THE La Strada. The atmosphere is wonderful, the entire staff (from hostess to the servers assistants) provide impeccable service. The food - in a word -"WOW" - from appetizers to dessert, can only be described as magnificent. Yes, be prepared to pay for what you get. You will enjoy every dining moment!!!
