Painfully slow service here. After waiting forever for someone to help me, I chose the fixture I wanted and they said I have to wait a moment to check their stock. Instead of checking their stock room they went to help other customers. When they finally did check, they didn't have what I wanted. Going to order on Amazon instead.

I had purchased before with Lamps Plus (ceiling fan/track lighting/bar stools) and had good experience. There are two track lights that came with the house we moved into, years ago. The bulbs burnt out, so I went to Lamps Plus for replacement. My mistake was tossing out the broken bulbs (some had fallen from the 14 foot ceilings). Took photos of track and fixtures to the store. if i could i wouldnt even leave half a star!!! you would think working at a place called lamps plus where your surrounded by a million lightbulbs someone would know what theyre doing. i called with a question concerning my light fixture because it was taking me 20 minutes just to take one bulb out and i had 15 more to change so i knew there had to be an easier way. I put 2 chandeliers on hold on 2/17/11 with an employee named Newman. Newman told me that the deposit I placed ensured me that they would be In Stock In Store and were available for whenever I decided to pick them up. My husband and I took the day off from work to make the Long Drive down to Torrance and decided to double check they were there, Only to be told that they were on order and were not physically present in the store even though their employee NEWMAN guaranteed me they would be. Picked out a lamp for company event. Asked for 2. Engraver called to tell me the lamps are not the same. WHAT? This store sucks with a capital S.

I came here to buy a swag light for my son's room because there is no light in his room and there is a hook on the ceiling but not only does Lamp Plus not have inexpensive lights, they also do not have any that are not girlie...they all seemed to be with crystals. Yeah...my son would not like that.

I will never make the mistake of shopping here again. My first trip was agonizingly slow - around two hours to buy four fixtures and two mounting brackets, and the majority of that time was spent waiting on the salesman to "check the stockroom", retrieve the items I actually wanted to buy from the stockroom (two chandeliers were not in stock and two ceiling fans were), and figure out how to run the checkout computer.
