DON'T Buy here, they're rude. Always mad when you ask questions. They want you to buy without asking. Spend 25 minutes waiting for help. The guy was rude to me.

I went to Lamps Plus in January, I saw a chair in the window that I liked while I was driving by. It was priced at 549.00. A little too high for me. I noticed a week ago (2mos later) the store was having a sale, 50% off. They hiked the price of the chair to 999. and put the price at 549.00. Unbelievable. I was very disappointed. I will never return to this store again.

I was in the store back in Sep and purchased two chairs. The sales lady Chris was really helpful and nice. Originally I was going to come back a week later to pick up the chairs but Chris called and said they can deliver the chairs to me to save me the time and trouble of picking it up myself. I purchased a ceiling fixture on Sat IN STORE with a credit card, for delivery direct to my home since they didn't have it in stock. Then around five hours later (!) this bonehead company emails me saying they need my billing address to verify the credit card transaction. Really? They didn't ask for it as such during the transaction, though they certainly could have, AND it was on my driver's license which they DID look at. I wish I could write a better review. I've used Lamps Plus successfully over the last 4 or 5 years,but they completely dropped the ball this time. I visited on a Saturday to look at outdoor lights and also recessed lights for my kitchen remodel. I found 2 of the 3 items I needed for the outdoor lights and an order was placed for the 3rd item (matching one of the other items I purchased). I was told the item would be in the store in a couple of days -- it's been a week now. I think I will return the items I purchase... read more

I have been looking online at Lamps plus. I decided to go to the store and see if they had something I liked rather then order something. I was browsing around the store when a friendly man, or I thought asked if he could help. He was Asian and his accent was a little hard to understand. Just walked out after no one approaching me after 5 min. Need a ceiling fan and lamp and had questions. Older guy with grey polo walked behind the counter and made eye contact as I was walking out buy nothing....

Been going here for several years to get lamps. If you need an average table lamp go somewhere else. They're poorly made and cheaper somewhere else., also buy lighting that is a best seller. Anything else they may discontinue and replacing it won't happen. The older sales staff are great, especially John V. Younger staff seem to have a high turnover rate and may not be there to help you the next time. I went into lamps plus to look for some help on custom rail lighting systems. After looking around a bit, a salesman stops by and asks if he can help. I tell him what I am interested in, and he sits me down to start discussing my options... good start. (What I'm explaining to him is between a $1,000 and $2,000 sale) But then 2 other customers come by to ask him questions, and he quickly excuses himself to help them out.
