I had ro drive all of the way to Torrance, as this is the closest store to my area. I have purchased all of my homes lighting needs at Lamps Plus stores. Today, I needed to use the restroom while I was shopping for a floor lamp, and was REFUSED access! Is that even legal? So I will go to McNally's instead.

This lamp plus is probably ran by the most UNPROFESSIONAL staff I have ever encountered! Starting off with the manager BAMBI, extremely rude when I called to ask for an update on an order that was supposed to be received three weeks ago! 2 PARTS, only 1 came in after waiting 3 weeks when they said it'd take 3-5 business days, I've called multiple times and all they can say is " we will check on this order and call you back" I have yet to receive a call back after three phone calls. I just left this store. For the last two years I wanted to see the inside. What a disappointment. Everything and I mean everything is over priced. Clearance items are over priced. Go to Home Depot, Ikea or Amazon instead. And their customer service is horrible. I came in, the first sales girl who had a long ponytail, ignored me. Didn't say hello. I pass another sales lady with bleach blond, over processed hair. Not one word to me as a customer. As I was making my way out the door, to my right, was a salesman. He wears glas... read more

Place is great with a large variety. I visited on 2/24 at approximately 5:30 pm. Sales associate 007796 was very helpful and courteous. She was a black woman and also a black young man was friendly and very helpful. I had a problem with another woman behind the register who appeared to be sick. I first approached the counter and she ignored me. She was writing some information on a form. I stood there for about 30 seconds until the black woman asked me how she can help me. I have never met a store manager! Bambi was so rude and I didn't care and was unempathetic that i drove 40 miles to come to the store to pick up a fixture for my house. Beyond rude and condescending. I don't recommend this business as it has gone down the hole and apparently will never come back as long as they're hiring such rude and uncaring people.

i ordered four outdoor lights for $3000 and had them arrange for delivery to the house...the first two arrived 2 weeks later and were of sub par quality (for that amount of money they should be of heavy brass stock...) i promptly returned them and was asked if i would be returning the other two that were delivered...i told them i never received the other two..they told me to check my cameras and it was probably due to porch pirates stealing them...but i was still accountable for them! i filed a claim with my credit card co... read more

This particular Lamps Plus is not following their own corporately issued, $20. class action voucher, which clearly states, "No minimum required". Callampssettlement.com. When trying to buy light bulbs, priced at 17.00 I was told I had to spend all $20. before tax. Perhaps another class action would change their mind.
