They finally fixed the screen bug issue with the new version for the iPhone 6Plus so it now takes nice pictures instead of cutting off part of the screen. However, after taking a picture of the back of the check, the system just hangs for several minutes while thinking. I tried multiple times and gave up after 10 minutes and 5% battery drain. The only way out of the screen is to force quit the app. A great idea, a horrible execution!!!
The only reason I downloaded the app is the demo pages showed that pending transactions could be viewed. That is not the case. Way less waste of my phone to delete the app and bookmark the mobile site. Just as fast and good. If they ever catch up to other banks technology I will consider reloading their app.
I wanted this app mainly for depositing rent payments from my tenants. Teller said it would do money orders; directions and online support (only weekdays 8 to 5:30) say no. Also may be a problem with bank generated checks, cashiers, refunds, etc. Also, checks will be reviewed before deposit is put through, online support says this would take an hour or two during business hours. The mobile deposit is garbage. The app downgrades the picture you take to such an extreme that it is unreadable, which then causes the deposit to be rejected. Frustrating and not at all useful. The rest of the app works as intended for me.
Usually I have to go to my husband's work, pick up his check and go deposit it. I thought this mobile app would be great for him to deposit it right from work and save us time and gas. WRONG! The app worked fine to deposit the check, but a day later the funds are not available. It's a payroll check and funds should be available immediately. There's no disclosure staying there is a hold put on mobile deposits. I guess I'm going Back to the bank :(
Mobile deposit routinely doesn't work. This app is next to useless.
Horrible app! Keep up with times Landmark! I just switched to you from chase and made my first deposit with my phone today. It feels so behind the times compared to chase. Very unfriendly!! I had to retake picture several times before it took and it doesn't look like a real picture, but an old black and white scan. I don't feel very secure with that. I'm giving it a one star and that's one more than it deserved.
Everything about this app is great except for the mobile deposit. I'm so frustrated! Every time I take the photo of the front of the check, the app crashes! It's very unreliable!!
This app is always freezing. Banking info is seldom accessible via the app because it is always crashing. Please help
