I wanted so badly to join this credit union. Will be relocating to Long Beach in a few months and really wanted to be part of the community in a significant way. When I visited this branch of LBSFCU, I was treated like I was more of an annoyance than a potential member. Ended up going to a competitor credit union that same day and received exceptional customer service.

ATM's most of the time up and running slanging me my dough don't cha know ! ? ! "bitch betta have all my money, not some, not half, but all my muthafukin dough" Neighborhood parrots flying free in the skies above squawking up a storm. I envy you my feathered friends. LBS FCU, you're ok too...

I used LBS for a five year loan for my car, and this year was my last set of payments. The last payment booklet they sent me (January through December 2010) indicated that my last payment was in November, and showed a payment of $0.00 due in December. So obviously I was going to assume that my last payment was November. I called them today to ask if they had released the title for my car, since I hadn't received it yet. They told me my loan was NOT paid off, and I still owed a final payment. WTF. The person on the phon... read more

Well, i can say that I've gone to the DMV and hab better luck getting a smile or a Thank You . . these guys are GRUMPY! ALLEN, who works at the Los Altos location off of Spring St. is a JERK!! We were trying to open up a checking account but after seeing how everyone was, we changed our minds! Is it really that difficult to be courteous? I mean, really? He gave us some paperwork to fill out and at NO TIME did he look at us, or ask if we had any questions. I think I'm starting to understand why people would rather deal with ... read more
