Good food, but the Palo Alto location is much better. Service was excellent.
The tea leaf and rainbow salads were delicious. Nice to find a Burmese restaurant in San Carlos.
great service, fantastic food, no wait. called for reservations & kept getting voicemail, so couldn't confirm reservations. portions were small for prices, but delish.
We were a table of 6 so we dined family style. Everyone loved every dish.
We ordered Northern Fried Tofu, Tea Leaf Salad, Country Style Lamb and Garlic Noodle. The food came out fast. We enjoyed everything. The Tea Leaf Salad with cabbage was our favorite. So delicious! The Garlic Noodle was our least. It could use more garlic/flavor? Our host seemed stern or not the "lively type". Nevertheless, I thought he was great. He would often check on us. He was thoughtful too. Without asking, he handed me an extra napkin because I told him I was perspiring from eating our extra spicy Country Style Lamb.
Was for an early lunch but, couldn't ask for more.
We sat outside and the weather was pleasant. The waiters were very good. The food was delicious. We asked for the salads to come out first - the tea leaf salad and the noodle one were both delicious. We asked for mild (or no) spice, which was perfect. Every dish was great, and seemed plentiful. We had a string bean dish, a crispy chicken, a shrimp dish, and a gluten-free chicken dish, and all were very satisfying. I would definitely return here the next time I'm passing through San Carlos.
