Pretty clean place in downtown San Carlos. Good service. The food was overly sweet. Coconut rice tasted like a mounds bar and Mango chicken was like mango marmalade goop. My coworker was in for the hottest spiciest dish and she said all she tasted was sugar, no heat.
Beautiful place, awesome food, especially the house noodles with boiled egg and the spicy white fish. A little disappointed with the ambience. The AC was broken so it was little hot inside. And also the windows were open and we could smell the smoking from outside.
Great food! Great options for both vegetarians and meat lovers so a win-win for our family. The palata is sooooo good. Would be a great business lunch spot as well as special occasion night out.
We had a great meal as usual, tried 8 dishes collectively and enjoyed them all. The server never smiles but we are used to that :) It’s one of the best restaurants in San Carlos.
The food was amazing, great friendly service. Very tender mango white fish dish was our favorite. We loved it.
It was very quiet and I was surprised that food was ok…. The Burmese noodles were just plain spaghetti. We were never offered drink refills and service was not there.
The food was delicious.
They were not prepared for the large turn out both inside the restaurant nor in the take out request areas. This was Mothers Day and this was more of a problem for a restaurant that normally is excellent in all respects.
My first visit to Rangoon Ruby was really good! A world of new flavors and textures. So good.
