Getting to the end and feeling like added fees, costs, numbers were wrong, having to have someone “re-do” the numbers. Felt like you were purposefully trying to rip us off. The person then “fixed” the numbers after we called them out. He tried to say we had to pay things the previous rep said we didn’t. Full rip off the client strategy that was tried. We’ll tell anyone who asks about PM to be very careful. They will try and stick you with added casts right at the end.
The service was excellent. Always kept me in the loop and answered all of my questions promptly.

During the initial call with my lender I was told that we would be able to avoid submitting paperwork such as our last paystubs, past taxes, etc. which are just kind of annoying to track down between my husband and I. It's not the end of the world but the "easy" process was what sold me on PennyMac over switching lenders so I felt EXTREMELY betrayed that I ended up having to not only provide all this information, but I'm pretty sure some of it I had to provide twice.
Liem was exceptionally helpful and patient with me. Always was available to speak with me and give answers to my questions.
We are very happy about the great home refinance experience we had with PennyMac. The customer service was excellent, quick and efficient. The electronic system is very well integrated and highly intuitive. We were able to close in a short period of time. The loan specialist was readily available to answer our questions and provide guidance whenever needed. We have started recommending PennyMac to friends and relatives.
Everything went according to schedule and our loan representative was very prompt and responsive. Overall, it was a seamless and easy process.
Easy process. Just took longer than I expected. But, it was explained to me. Because of the Covid19 and the low interest rates, it was taking longer to fund and close the loans. Overall, I was extremely satisfied.
