My family has been coming to Lifetime for over 20 years. My parents even drive down from Laguna Niguel to have their cats treated here! Dr. Hardy has built a wonderful practice, full of caring and compassionate people. As a pet owner, you can imagine what trials and heartbreaking situations you experience.... You can trust these lovely, extremely educated people with your life. Truly amazing!
I've mostly seen Dr. Pizzo of late, but I started with Dr. Hardy around 20 years ago. I'm always impressed with the knowledge and caring of the staff, and how skillful they are in getting blood out of even wiggly cats or reluctant dogs. The veterinarians are first-rate at explaining everything, and leave wonderful messages on my phone when I'm not there to pick up myself. I know they remember my animals between visits; Dr. Pizzo called me recently after an endocrinology seminar with an idea for one of my cats, who she h... read more
I heard about this place through a flyer that I got from San Diego County and I took my dog for a rabies vaccination. The staff was great and the vet was super compassionate and kinder to my dog. The place also was clean and organize
Been bringing our dogs here for years, very friendly staff. Our dogs t love all of the attention they get from the staff and other families with their pets. Dr. Hardy is vet we see the most when we take in our dogs. We started there with our Husky/Retriever mix, she went there for 12 years before she passed away. Then when we got our 2 little dogs (Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix and Pug/ Chihuahua mix) have been going there for the last 5 years. They're really good about working you into the schedule if needed.
Why is it that veterinarians are kinder, more compassionate and more willing to take a few extra minutes than our own personal physicians? This group is a perfect example of knowledge and care that we all wish we could get. It'S a bit of a drive for me and worth the effort and time. I highly recommend these folks

Dr. Emily Wilkinson is the Doctoring Veterinarian at Lifetime Animal Care Center, 4941-G Clairemont Dr., San Diego, CA 92117, for my Medical Alert Service Dog, Sugar. Sugar factually saved my life on three separate occasions. My wife and I are cautious as to who provides any type care especially medical care to Sugar. Dr. Wilkinson and the entire staff at Lifetime Animal Care Center is tops, from their professional skills to their personal attributes. We highly recommend Lifetime Animal Care Center for your companion's veter... read more
I have been going to Life Time Animal Care for 4 years now. I recently lost my cat to Brain cancer and all the staff was so caring and helpful through the whole process. The staff is always nice and truly seems to care for the animals. After my cat passed, I received cards in the mail from the staff and they even made a donation to UC DAVIS for their Vet Programs in my cats name. It was all so sweet. I take my new cat there and he seems pretty happy. I would and have recommended Life Time to anyone looking for a new Vet.
Words cannot properly express the gratitude I feel for Lifetime Animal Care's graciousness, competence, and true compassion. I worked with Dr. Schultz, and I was amazed at how knowledgeable she was, how caring, and how truly concerned she was about my poor dog. I've been to many veterinarians (family history of a dog grooming business, and my dog was 13 y/o) and she is by far the best I have seen. She and her front desk staff went far above and beyond to help me with everything, from explaining complicated x rays and illn... read more
I am completely surprised by the negative reviews here. I brought my fathers dog in because of some skin irritations... The staff and vet were very attentive and informative. I never felt like I was "nickel and dimed" like I have been with my own vet in Orange County. The prices were very reasonable. I was impressed with the level of service my dads dog received. The vet diagnosed the skin infection correctly and prescribed antibiotics that cure his skin infection. I recall telling my brother who was with me at the appt tha... read more
