We have been taking our dog to Dr. Hardy at Lifetime Animal Care for several years. My dog has a lot of..um...personality and HATES the vet, people prodding her, etc., but Dr. Hardy is always very patient and kind. You can tell he really cares about the animals and is always very respectful towards our dog despite how rude she is to him!

Duncan (see pic) had a visit here since they were all booked up over at his usual vet and I was worried about a growth on his leg that wouldn't stop bleeding. I found this establishment on-line and most importantly, they were able to get him in that day. Four different vets that work here which I am sure contributes their availability of appointments. The staff was really nice and friendly. The vet we saw was an older gentleman, his name escapes me. He was very warm, accommodating, informative, and asked appropriate question... read more

Very sad story after I took my cat last September to Dr. Solorzano because he was loosing weight, she ordered numerous tests and shots totalling close to $2,000. He was doing better after the antibiotec shot he got but I got no call back with any affirmative results so I proceeded to treat my cat homeopathicaly. In February I took him back in because he was still loosing weight. After checking him out the Vet Tech came back and told me that my cat was on oxegen and they need to insert a catherter, he was not doing good. A... read more

I took my cat to Lifetime for the first time and saw Dr. C. I brought her in because I saw a growth in her mouth. I asked him to look in her mouth and he would not. He said they needed to do x-rays, anesthsesia etc. etc. then gave me an estimate for over $2,000. It was an estimate for Dental Surgery with a long list of services. My cat does not need dental surgery because she has no teeth! If he had read her chart from my old vet, Dr Michael, he would have known that. I have since seen another vet who DID look in her m... read more

this place is horrible. I called and asked if I could bring my cat in for just a sanitary shave which he has had many times before but the place that I usually go was too busy today. This is a grooming service and I was not told over the phone that my cat would need a veterinary exam just to get a grooming service. Not only did they take me 45 minutes after my appointment time, it wasn't until I got in the room that they told me I needed an exam done by the vet just to get the sanitary shave. The exam was $75 and that wasn't... read more

My aunt is a senior citizen and unable to post on Yelp, so she asked me to post the following on her behalf. My aunt's dog of 17 years recently died within 2 days of having dental work performed by Dr. Koral Solorzano at the Lifetime Animal Care Center. Even at 17 years old, he was running around and chasing my aunt's daughter's dog just the day before the dental visit. It was not explained to my aunt that her dog would need to be put under anesthesia (and therefore, the risks associated for a 17 year old dog were also n... read more

If I could give this place less than one star I would. I've never felt so strongly that the technicians, staff, and doctors cared so little for my pets health and well-being. My dog has been seen multiple times and each time they were completely unorganized and rude, as well as giving me wrong information and a misdiagnosis. No one seemed to be knowledgeable about what my dog needed, and the necessary steps to help him. Also, after being seen, they said my dog was fine even though weeks later, I got an random invoice includi... read more

I have been a customer of Lifetime Animal Care for 18-years and I have never had any problems with this location. Over the past few years it has been a sharp decline. The grand finale for me was when I encountered Dr., Koral Solorzano. I recently visited Dr. Koral Solorzano's at lifetime Animal care, with high hopes for quality care and professional service. Unfortunately, my experience with her was far from satisfactory. In fact, I found her to be unprofessional, insecure, incompetent, unprepared, vindictive, and unwilli... read more

Worst vet I've been to in San Diego. Currently, I am sitting at an urgent care at 11am on Friday when lifetime SHOULD be open. Their voicemail says they are closed, I've received no email or text that office hours would be different. My dog was just attacked by another dog. I pay for the paw plan with them which I extremely regret doing. Besides this current issue, anytime I visit them they go with the most costly and invasive treatment..for example my dog had a simple ear infection and they wanted to put an implant/stint in... read more
