Our dog had an emergency but the vet was too busy to see him on a Tuesday. Finally a week later he got in. But of the primary vets listed on the door, only one was actually still working there. And she was not the vet to see him. A temporary vet saw him and she failed to read his history on file telling his history of allergies. We were given a written list of suggested medications not aware of his allergies. We call the office latter this same day for clarification, The temporary vet that had done the examination had gone ... read more

We are sorry but we cannot look at your pet's record to look into this situation without additional information. Please call our office so that we can address your concerns. Thank you.
The quality of care at this facility has gone down. Front office staff are rude and unprofessional at best. After having my pets here for years we have left the practice after the treatment my family received when my dog Bowser died. When I called to let them know I was shocked by the way I was treated over the phone with total disrespect and lack of empathy. The back office assistants are great, too bad the front office "manager" hates her job and brings down the value of the practice. Goodbye Lifetime Animal Care. Your ser... read more

Thank you for sharing your wonderful review, Cortney. On behalf of the staff, thank you for trusting us with your pets' care for years!
Don't ever come here. Came here to get my cat cart food but they made an old cat come in. He came in was stressed paid $1500 to make him feel better last 2 days. Currently in process of putting him down. THIS PLACE WILL KILL YOURE PETS!!! Do not trust
Business response:
Kat, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to speak with us and for allowing us to address your concerns. We understand your frustration and will use this feedback to work hard to improve the service we provide our clients and their pets.

We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with a staff member. This is certainly not acceptable and we will redouble our efforts to ensure that our staff is trained appropriately. Regarding receiving any medical advice over the phone, we are careful to refrain from doing so as when we are unable to see the pet, we cannot diagnose a condition with any degree of certainty, so we do need to see the pet to legally give any medical advice. We are sorry to hear that you were unable to book an appointment readily at L... read more
Do not take your rodents or small animals there. Their "exotic vet" did not have an understanding of rats. They kept referring to my female rat as a male mouse. Asked if she has been vomiting which is not physically possible for a rodent. They prescribed too weak of antibiotics and had to see another vet to get the right one. Failed to weigh her upon examination, so I'm not sure how they determined the dose for the medication. Overall, seemed inexperienced even though they claim they can treat small animals.
Business response:
Thank you for your feedback. Because you elected to seek veterinary treatment from two sources, both the group from which you adopted your pet and our medical office it seems you received contradicting information. We spent a great deal of time working with your adopter to determine what was provided to your pet. We are disappointed that you feel you did not receive the best care.
I have gone here for 3 decades. Dr. Hardy has been a blessing. When my dog unexpectedly needed help most I was told they were too busy to see him. Poor thing went from active to not being able to walk. I prefer the care of Lifetime Animal but obviously loyalty is obsolete. So disappointed! Read your response. Just a few weeks before, my dogs were in for there annual check up. You were more than content to take my $500 and give my dog a thumbs up. When I called, I received no referral. The reception was short and rude... read more

So sorry you were disappointed, Jeff. Unfortunately, due to COVID we have been extremely busy and are unable to fit in all of the pets that need our help. We refer to emergency with critical cases, knowing that those pets cannot wait for an appointment. We apologize for your disappointment and are doing our very best to serve as many pets as possible.
Despite my cat losing a bunch of weight and their fur looking matted, they didn't determine any issues. A few weeks later my cat is at the emergency room with severe kidney issues. Later I asked for saline IV bags from them and after a full days wait for a response they denied it despite it apparently being available online. A better vet clinic was able to advise me on the procedure for administering the solution and was able to sell it to me. Additionally, many years ago the clinic failed to diagnose a serious health issu... read more

We are very sorry to hear that your cat has passed. As your cat's case was critical, we referred you to emergency as fluids likely were not going to be enough to help your pet. We are sorry that you feel disappointed.
We went there to exam our hamster, and the doctor seems like trouble with exam her. We need to see her mouth but the doctor failed to make the hamster feel comfortable. The doctor was bit by our hamster - I feel sorry. Other than that, the staffs are nice, place is clean. Just for some high tech staff that require experience with hamster, I don't recommend doctors here. Find other place maybe better for your small pet.
Business response:
Yunyi, thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, it is extremely common for hamsters to bite during their medical visits. It is often difficult to avoid and our veterinary staff is accustomed to this occurrence as part of the job. We enjoy taking care of pocket pets and offer them the best possible care. We are sorry that you were disappointed in your experience.
Vickie Swarowski, a practicing veterinarian at this clinic is in my opinion extremely unethical in her practice. My puppy's ears were cropped by her, and she did a horrible job!! The crop is noticeably uneven...so much so, that others have commented on the results of her work. I could never recommend her as a competent veterinarian!! My experience with her professionalism has been hurtful and shocking to say the least!! I will never use this clinic based on my experience with Dr. Vickie Swarowski
Business response:
Hello Suzie: Dr. Swarowski does not work at Lifetime. In addition, we do not perform the service of ear cropping at our practice. The service you mention was not one of Lifetime Animal Care Center.
