I am giving one star but they do not actually deserve any stars. If you are considering sending your loved one to this home please reconsider as I would not want anyone’s loved one to go through the neglect and trauma my Grandmother did in her final months. I especially wouldn’t want you to personally deal with the immense regret and guilt we feel as a family, that we were unable to transfer my Grandmother to a much more professional and supportive care home before it was too late. This is the worst care home that I have come across. Do not send your loved ones here. My dad who has severe parkinsons and dementia had pressed the call button for assistsnce going to the toilet. Nobody came to his aid for half an hour. He eventually had to go in his nappy. Often they were short staffed and one occassion they sent my dad in an ambulance without a carer, water and his parkinsons medications. Its appaling service and for the money that was paid, i felt it was daylight robbery.

If you want continued care for your loved one please do not place them in this care home when the dementia going gets tough they don't want to know some great lovely carers but Management no regard at all. After moving my mum to another care home you actually see what loving care is all about not given by this place

I managed to get my father into Links House for the last few weeks of his life. Although his health was very bad, he told me on a few occasions how much he liked his room and the staff. The staff were always caring and compassionate and the facilities are excellent compared to all the other homes I have attended. I would recommend.

My grandad spent his last few months at link house. He had many health problems. I can not thank the staff at Link House for their care and support. They managed to let my grandad live his last couple months in dignity and comfort. They were also very supportive towards the family. Nothing was too much for them and they always made sure he had everything he wanted. His room was always clean and the food served always looked well prepared. Thank you Link House.
