Went there for New Year's Day brunch. The place was buzzing and the wait staff were attentive. Unfortunately, those were the only two good things. Firstly, I enjoy a bar atmosphere with TV and music, however, in this case they had the music blaring so loudly that it was hard to hear my partner sitting right across from me. The corner spot is nice. I should have noticed most people were drinking Beers... there's a reason; the mixed drinks are horrible, was there with 6 friends after a long day. When a server asks if you want single or double that's a clue! Two of us ordered a cocktail, the others ordered a beer from the 'Princess' server who won't last long in the business due to her attitude. Because of this amazing location we have tried to enjoy this place, each time a disappointing experience. Today our bottle of chardonnay was warm, one wine glass hot (from the dishwasher) server was non-responsive, food was beyond bland, tables so close together the person next to me couldn't stop shaking her leg and we could feel it. Never again. Message to owners of establishments with awesome locations... Still work on quality, service and atmosphere.
Never got a chance! My husband and I wanted to have a drink and burger at the patio. When we arrived they told us to sign up for the wait. We did and it turned out to be an endless wait. People would come, exchange a word with the hostess and entered right in. We noticed that two girls who came and signed up after us, knew someone who worked at the restaurant and they were told they would soon get a table. That's exactly what happened! 3 of us went here last night, I ordered a burger and my two friends ordered a curry rice bowl and fish tacos. We waited for a while but were not to bothered as we were expecting a nice meal. When the meals arrived all 3 of them were completely cold. We informed the waitress and she told us she would heat them up. Right on the curb is this local restaurant which is mostly packed during a sunny day . All painted black , patio shines out with wooden benches . Roadside parking n some parking spots in front of the restaurant. Good thing that the kitsilano park is close so park in their parking lot. Our visit was not upto the mark . I don't know if they are busy all the time or just on weekends that their service was bad. Polite n sweet spoken servers doesn't help when u r looking to feed ur starving stomach. I am updating this review based on the service and a few hiccups I experienced on my second visit to this location. I would give the food 4 stars and the service/experience a 2 this time around. On this visit me and two others seated ourselves. We sat for 10minutes maybe a touch longer waiting for a server, nobody came. We tried to get the attention of anyone, but no luck. Finally got one over when we said we'd like to order. She said she wasn't our server but would take care of it, later she said she actually is our server... read more

We requested the waitress for another table (in a booth) since we were 8 people, but she refused and seated 2 other random people at our table. WHO DOES THAT! Ridiculous!! Didn't expect this from them as my other experiences there have been better...

The atmosphere was nice, but the food... I ordered a burger with fries. and it was ALL Salt! not just a bit salty, it was salty to the point that i could only have two bites. had to wait for 20 mins to find a server to bring my bill for the salt burger, so i can leave.
