Called provider's Dallas/Garland number and requested someone come out and look at my roof as I had a leak.? After getting no response for two weeks, I called back.? I was told my estimate had been assigned to "Addison" and they would have him call me. I received no call. It's now June and have never heard from this company. While I'm aware most roofers currently have more business than they can handle, at some point that will not be the case and I will remember how I was treated in this instance.

Provider originallyinstalled my roof in 2000 and I noticed a leak in the top of my kitchen cabinet in March, 2016. I called them since they were the installers and they responded quickly and sent an estimator. He checked it out and it appeared to be the stack for the bathroom..the seal, over time, had deteriorated and needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate and said they would replace both stacks (pipes)that were on my roof, seal and paint them. I accepted it and they were out later that week to complete the work.
I bought this home and Lon Smith Roofing had replaced the roof for the prior owner and the warranty was with them. I had them come out to do a routine expectation of the roof after a hail storm. They stated that the skylight needed to be replaced even though I had no issues with it but stated it would be best for the roof and look better cosmetically. They contracted someone else to come out, Brad Bruecher, and he did nothing. He essentially made noise on my roof. They also said they did a water test which was an additional $150. We had another company come out afterwardswho said that from his observations nothing had actually been done and he ended up changing and vents and installing new shingles for us. Overall, Lon Smith roofing was terrible and scammed us out of $500. Do not use this company.
Lon Smith want to charge an unauthorized steep charge on my home that I have now sold. Sate Farm came out and met with Lon Smith and both agreed there was not the additional steep Lon Smith wanted to charge for. Lon Smith would never tell their billing office so Lon Smith kept trying to charge me a steep charge up until the time I closed on the house. Up front when they came out to give us the original estimate, the sales team was very professional. I believed everything I heard from their radio and TV ads.I had already received several other estimates from a few (about five) other roofers). When it got down to the "nitty gritty" (when the salesman omitted some essential things from our roof for Lon Smith to make more profit), that is when I got deeply involved with them.
