QUICK SERVICE AND NICE JOB OF CLEAN UP.
THEY DID GOOD WORK, BUT DID NOT SHOW UP THE FIRST TIME AS PROMISED. THEY MISCALCULATED THE FINAL BALANCE AND I CAUGHT THE MISTAKE AND HAD TO GO TO THEIR PLACE OF BUSINESS AND MAKE IT RIGHT.
THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN ONLY ONE DAY. COST WAS MINIMAL BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO REPLACE THE WHOLE ROOF.
THEY COMMUNICATED THE BEST TYPE OF ROOF FOR MY NEEDS AND EXPECTATIONS OF WARRANTY. THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE REGARDING THEIR PRODUCTS.
WORKERS WERE FRIENDLY AND WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE FINISHED PRODUCT.
Pathetic. Here's a few pictures, which I sent to the CEO, along with many others. I doubt the CEO even saw those pictures since all the correspondence I got back was a form letter, which shows how they handle customer service. I chose Lon Smith due to their high ratings and recommendation from our State Farm agent, but if you get the crew who did mine, you will be sorry.
3 day job took a month to finish/repair very poor workmanship. I personally had to find, point out defects.
A 3 day job became a month long ordeal. The roofing crew did a very poor job. Numerous areas where no felt/tar paper installed. I personally had to point it out to the inspector. Several return repairs had to be made some requiring the entire day. Flashing around my chimney had to be completely redone. Never was there a follow up from the Lon Smith sales persons. Additionally there was considerable damage to landscaping and front yard.

History shows that we set a very high mark and expect the best for our customers, however this job did not meet those standards and for that we apologize. Nevertheless, the job was completed and a credit was extended to your account for your inconvenience.
Lon Smith did not meet any of our requests. They insisted on roofing during July 4th and the quality was terrible. Remnant looking shingles that sand constantly and we have a pool close to the house. Lon Smith did not remove the old roof paper and this particular roof was over 13 years old. They put the Lon Smith paper, in a sloppy fashion, over the top of the old and never looked at the deck despite the fact that we have water damage on the ceiling in two areas of our home, and we repeatedly asked the inspector to do so.
