The initial tour of the facility was good, The room I was shown was clean and I liked that they were removing carpet and replacing with vinyl flooring. This is an independent living facility and at the moment I think my brother-in-law requires a bit more assistance.
The initial tour of the facility was excellent, The room I was shown was clean and they offered several solutions if we needed any modification ie, ceiling fans or doors removed for ease of wheelchair access.
My sister lives it there. It is exactly what she needed. The staff is so wonderful. Great place!
My Mom moved in late March from out of town amid many tears and not happy to leave a city where she had lived over 85 yrs. I have been very pleased with the accommodations at Lone Star and the staff are very caring. My mom has become friendly with several of her neighbors and adjusting slowly to new people. Any concerns have been quickly addressed and I am very grateful for a safe place for my mom to live. We had a pretty nice tour of this community. It is a good community. The staff was very kind, and helpful. Our questions were answered, and they were very informative as well. There were many factors that played into where my husband, and I would move too. I did found a community that suited our needs better. but our went tour of this facility.
My mother moved here recently and still isn't getting involved in activities but the staff and residents all encourage her. We've eaten with her and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was! The one drawback is they've had three managers in the last two months. The new manager has said they plan to do some renovations on the exterior of the building. I really enjoyed my tour of this community, they treated me very good. Everyone was very welcoming and kind. I loved the way the community looked, very homey. The staff was helpful and very courteous. It was a little to expensive for my budget, but my tour went well.
My mom was living at this community but we had to move her into a community with a back up generator. She uses a 24-hour oxygen system and this was very necessary. We found out this was not available for her unit. She was otherwise satisfied with the friendly staff and tasty food.
Everything is going very well here for my dad, I feel he is in the right place. Mindy, the manager, does a great job operating the community. The community has a pleasant atmosphere and feel good spirits when I'm here. My dad likes the food with many options to choose from. His room is really nice. I would and have recommend this community.
