The Lone Star Living community has had issues with food quality due to a new chef but always correct any problems. They seem to listen to their residents and family members. Overall, very satisfied! Thanks again for helping us find it.

We have asked our residents for input to improve their dining experience. The new executive chef has worked with us for over ten years and was promoted to improve past challenges. We host a chefs corner each month to give updates and encourage residents to make suggestions and share some of their most favorite recipes. Happy to say everything is home made from scratch with some residents sharing they keep putting on the pounds. People that care about my sister....activities, most services for a reasonable cost- the only negative is that my greatest fear was realized- my sister has gained 30 pounds in 3 months and I had shared that concern with the ED before she moved in. He is now involving the kitchen staff to ensure that [name removed] eats healthy and smaller portions! So, the food is good! I would absolutely recommend this place. Area of town is not great but they have good security measures in place and never had issues
What our family has enjoyed the most about the community so far is the friendliness of the staff and the other happy residents that are living there. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the Lone Star Living community to other families.
My loved one is currently a resident at Lone Star Living and everything has been very good for her at this facility so far. The friendliness, staff and activities are great. The cleanliness, care services, food and value for cost are good. I would say, we finally got it right at this facility. Her first place was not the right fit for her, but this facility has been much better.
I toured this facility and my loved one was supposed to move in. However, she went into the hospital just before moving in and ended up needing a higher level of care. This facility is very clean. Their atmosphere and accommodations were amazing! The staff is very attentive, friendly and helpful. Absolutely zero complaints. I really liked this facility and I'm just sad that my loved one could not move in due to circumstances. I would definitely recommend Lone Star Living to others based on our tour and experience with them.
It was truly the only facility that they could afford and still have a separate bedroom and living area. Bonus that the staff was friendlier than the others, very accommodating to their particular needs, and fairly close to our house.
Lone Star Living gets 5 stars for all questions. Thank you so much A Place for Mom for the recommendation. The facility has been great and all of the staff here have been wonderful. I would definitely recommend Lone Star Living for those looking for a retirement community. They offer the most for the best price.
We love it at Lone Star Living and have had such a great experience here, in all aspects - but especially the people. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
My relative likes the food, the relatively low cost, the people, the units. Very good experience. Location isn't great but overall it's good. I would recommend with warning that can't walk anywhere because of neighborhood.
