The apts may look nice surface wise but they have issues and are old. There were electric and plumbing issues and they don't have enough washers and dryers. if you decide to use the home health care service they have, the care is not as comprehensive as you think it would be. If you are an independent senior this could work for you.

We did not really like the environment of this community but the staff was very friendly

We chose this facility because of the value for the money and she got her own apartment which we were able to paint and put her own furniture in, it is very nice and updated. They handle and run a pretty a good facility here at Lone Star Living. It is an older facility, but they are very good with the upkeep. The staff members here are very friendly and helpful anytime we need anything, they have been good with communication. From what I saw in the dining room, the food did look good. Overall it has been a good experience.

I really enjoy participating in quilting, especially during COVID. The rooms at this community are pretty good size, they would be a five out of five. The food would also be a five out of five, they have a lot of variety to choose from.

My mother has recently moved to Lonestar, and during COVID-19, I assumed it was going to be difficult. Just not the case however, and I have been impressed how well they have handled safety procedures. Better than I have seen some physician offices! That aside, I can also say the apartment itself is beautiful and spacious and can accommodate those with wheelchairs and the like quite well. I would say that for what they charge its good value . For people that are on a limited income this is a great option. We chose this community for the value, it is in an older neighbor so it felt safe, and it is in a convenient location which is close to my house. The food is fabulous with a lot of variety. I moved my brother to Lone Star Living from a different senior living facility and I’m so happy I did. The staff is very helpful, friendly and have they kept the residents well informed and safe, especially with Covid-19 threatening our city. The property is well maintained and the apartments are spacious. I’m very pleased with all the amenities the property offers, but more importantly my brother is happy! [Name removed]

After leaving a facility without much warning, Lone Star Living made everything possible with ease. Although the price is more than where my grandpa was before, it is well worth it and they have much more offered! I rest easy knowing he is in a safe place. Not to mention how close it is to Sugar Land!

My dad moved here a week ago. We love it here( dad, me and my brother) They have made everything very easy for him. The food is good and plentifully. The residents are friendly and welcoming and the staff are really caring. My dad is happy again...I am so glad that we found this place!!! :) [Name removed]
