Called in and spoke to a "Laura" and again this place... ugh. It is still a shady Uber questionable money grab of incompetent vet services... Hope that it had changed, but the call just reinforced my initial impression with them about a decade ago, when they moved to this current location on Northwest Highway in Palatine. They had injured my cat and given him a leg infection from the incompetent bandaging of his leg!!! Who tf covers an open would without a layer of gauze before the sticky stretch bandage wrap? Do I even need to leave a review? You can tell by the owners response to all bad reviews how flippant they are. So if you don't mind horrible bedside manners, holier than tho attitude and hidden costs resulting in exorbitant bills then this is your place! My experience is in line with most of the bad reviews. I work and live over 30mins from them so their we don't need to accommodate you, we need to accommodate us hours don't work for me. This establishment needs major improvement on their communication skills and should make honesty with their patients their FIRST priority. Their ineffective communication imposes a concern and brings on a perception that they lack compassion towards their patients/animals. I am appalled with their ethics and astounded by the lack of due diligence from a customer service perspective. There are many veterinarians that will accommodate your pet(s) and your family. I highly recommend against this facility.
The Veterinarian was fantastic. The staff, front desk are horrible enough to never go there again. My puppy received the last of his puppy shots. The vet mentioned that he was on the verge of a yeast infection. Did not prescribe anything. I followed her instructions but last night my puppy starts going crazy on his ears. I called the vet. lowest i can go would go lower. Bad practice and bad customer service. Do not care about your pet only in it for the money. Beware

It's truly unfortunate, the behavior you exhibited is completely inappropriate, unacceptable and frankly quite embarrassing. No one should treat anyone that way, regardless of who they are. If leaving a poor review makes you feel better, that's fine, as long as the next practice doesn't have to experience what we did. The December before COVID I brought my Cat in to be looked at. She had a mass growing in her mouth which was causing her eye to shut. The Doctor took a look and told me that nothing could me done and walked out of the room. She sent in the tech who was absolutely wonderful and comforting. He told me I'd know when the time came to put her down. That was it. No medication for me to give her! Nothing for pain or even her thyroid medication. Went to another Vet for a second opinion. I took my pet here for many years. At the end of her life when I was in turmoil over what to do the way Bridget talked to me was unconscionable. She is a detriment to Dr. Carlson and Dennis who give it their all. And solely because of her I will not bring my other pets to this clinic. I understand the positive reviews because I've had positive experiences here as well over the years, but when the negatives start to outweigh the positives then it's time to move on. I had done due diligence when choosing Loving Care years ago. I expect good medicine with my family's doctors and NOT unnecessary, unprecedented procedures. I even brought many new clients to them after having positive interactions with the owner and other doctor that had treated my dog. However, based on many new conversations with members of the community and my most recent visit, I can no longer recommend them. Your request for us to alter your pet’s vaccination record did not follow the manufacturer’s direction and dosing guidelines, which our veterinarians follow closely to ensure the health and safety of our patients and any other dogs they may come in contact with. I am very disappointed in this place. I used to bring all of my dogs here. They were always so loving and caring. When I brought my dog Daisy to be put down, the front desk girl Caroline cried with me. Soon after that I got Ella , and my opinion of this place changed.
