Knocked on my front door with a no soliciting sign right next to it about eye-level height. He made it sound like he worked for Duke Energy (my power company) or in conjunction with, so I let him talk. Made it seem like he was with Duke to tell me they are switching power meters from analog to digital. Afterwards, he proceeded to ask my power **** and talked about solar panels. I don't appreciate deceitful sales tactics like misdirection or impersonation to get me to buy something.

Sales rep rolled through our yard to our front door on a segway looking thing. Rand the doorbell and the proceeded to bang on the door. So my husband jumps up and runs to the door thinking something is wrong with someone. I didnt hear what he said but my husband said he was rude.

The sales person did not explain my questions till the end, and he was not clear. My first question is how much will it cost me, and I wanted an answer before I gave him my time, but he made go through a whole deal of explanation of how this would save me money without telling me how much the entire process will cost me. I told him over and over that I know it would save me money, because I heard of this panel thingies, so all I needed to know is how much is this going to cost me to get them installed? A Lumio salesman knocked on my door that had a clear no solicitation sign on it which he acknowledged seeing. However, he ignored it assuring me he wasnt selling anything and continued with his pitch. I cut him off and informed him Im not interested in his sales pitch to which he repeated, he wasnt selling me anything. I asked him to get off my property and that I would be reporting this interaction with the BBB and closed the door behind me to which he again reiterated that he wasnt trying to sell me anything. Poor communication and customer service. Also, expensive compared to other solar companies. I wouldnt recommend to anyone. Stay far away. The sales person was great but the rest of the company is complete trash in my opinion. Then they tell you they will charge you $3500 for cancellation when they fail to communicate properly. They were calling the wrong number the entire time even though they had the correct number. Not once did I receive an email saying they were trying to call. The panels where not Installed in the location that was agreed upon during our initial consultation. On top of them not being installed in the right place, they are installed sloppily and look terrible. After two months of leaving messages and voice-mails, the sales manager finally called my wife and told her basically that moving the panels is expensive and they have no plans to move them even though we where never shown diagrams to approve before hand. Waited 4 mos write review. We wanted add solar panels for sev yrs now, but companies providing rooftop solar didnt work in our area. December of 2021, saleman from DecaLiving came by and developed plan for us that would work. We were excited - everything sounded great. Salesman went over plan, went over loan documents. Two representatives came to my door this afternoon. My husband politely said we were not interested. They refused to listen and kept giving their pitch. My husband said not to come back. They said they have to come back since we did not answer the questions. My husband then repeated not to come back and closed the door. Be very careful signing up with this company. It is five months later my solar panels are still not operational. These sell representatives come to your home and tell you CenterPoint is sourcing out 30% of there customers for Solar panels to ease the demands on the power grids especially after the winter storms in ***** last year.
