My mum was so well looked after here, she played bingo, sung songs, she always looked lovely. She had her hair done and her nails always painted. In her last few weeks, we had such intimate moments in her room. She always looked so cosy and clean, the staff always made me feel so welcome to sit with Mum. They looked after me and Mum in her final days, coffee lunch, a reassuring chat and now a memory I am forever grateful to all the staff.

My grandad came into the care home first and settled in well, then the staff made my grandad and nan's final wish of being together come true and made it possible for them to be together until the end. The staff are so warm and friendly and genuinely care for and love all the residents and their extended family. I have always been well informed of any changes in their health and well being. The food is second to none and my nan and grandad loved living here. If I asked my grandad if he liked it he would say 'oh yes I love it... read more

I have been very pleased with all the help and care I have received about my mother. The carers are very kind and helpful and have been very helpful to me as a new comer to care homes.

My mother has only been a resident for three weeks but I have already personally experienced the caring attitude of staff. On my first visit two members of staff spent considerable time explaining things to me and how they were coping with some of Mum’s issues. Mum’s move to Lyncroft from an assessment facility, after 6 weeks in hospital, was delayed because of a mix up over a covid test. Lyncroft alerted me to the situation and kept me fully informed. Mum was in Lyncroft from February 2020 until, sadly, she passed in April 2021. COVID visiting restrictions made Mum's last year difficult and we missed her very much when we could not visit. As a family, we can not praise the staff and the home enough for the care and attention they have given my mum during her time in Lyncroft especially in her final weeks and days. The care provided to my mother during these very difficult 'Covid' times has been excellent. This together with the regular, very informative and considerate updates regarding the 'Covid' situation and visiting opportunities has been really good and very much appreciated.

Excellent friendly and first class service. Would definitely recommend this care home, they treat all their clients like one of their own family members. Food and choices is excellent and very tasty. All staff are very professional and friendly.

These past months with Covid on the horizon, have been really hard. Not being able to visit, hold hands, kiss or have any closeness to my mum were almost unbearable. The only consolation is that I know she is being cared for to the same standards as I would use myself by the staff at Lyncroft.
