Well, I had an appointment for haircolor last Sunday and I was 8 minutes late because the place is in the middle of a busy shopping complex and was incredibly crowded. I kept trying to call them but no response and when I did go into the place, I was rudely turned away saying we do not take late appointments. Even their permanent colors wears off in two weeks. Hair feels chemically treated so not sure how gentle these colors are as they advertise.

Heard great things about Madison Reed in general, but the operations and customer service at Campbell location are poor. I was running late for my 11:15 am and tried calling but no one answered the phone. I arrived at 11:25 am and was told they could not take me due to "their 10 min late policy", "because of yesterday" (whatever that means), and "busy weekend". They didn't even offer to do the color, but not blow dry to save time the 10 minutes. Not coming back.

Horrible experience trying to get in contact with the salon to cancel an appointment. I've been waiting for over thirty minutes to talk to someone. The website is just as useless. It only seems like this company wants a customer's money and doesn't care about service. If I get charged for a no show for my appointment that is scheduled three days from now; I will bring my case to the Better Business Bureau because I am trying to cancel my appointment and not be charged their "no show fee". The experience was wierd at best. Clients have color applied, then timed..... but no one checks the color? I mean, AT ALL. Not even one "let's see how it's going"...... hmmmm. I know my hair is "easy" to color, but normally the colorist checks the color for saturation, etc. Then you go to the wash station, and get a GREAT scalp massage (yay!).... then it's off to dry your own hair (wierd!). The "dry area" has clients standing up, and drying their own hair, with ancient hairbrushes (but clean) and the old nasty hair... read more
Beware this area has terrible parking. I circled for 20 minutes to find parking--I tried to call them to let them know but no one picked up after 10 minutes of ringing. Came in and they said I was beyond the 10 minute grace period--by like 2 minutes. So they rescheduled me to later in the day. Such a hassle but have to get my roots done for an event this weekend.
The staffs were nice. But my hair came out horrible. I was supposed to get Balayage highlights; however, I ended up with several bright spots in the middle of my head/hair. They tried to fix it by re-toning my hair, but still the bright spots are very visible. I ended up being there for 2.5 hours and came out with ridiculous bright patterns/spots on my hair. Well here I am the 3rd time and they have yet again changed my schedule to take on a walk-in. I scheduled 2 weeks ago for an event and they pushed me 30 minutes. I am part of their membership monthly program and it seems it's better to push members and get newbies in. Best part, they text you to confirm, you confirm and then they give you the later time on the text. They act like oh no it's you! Like I'm crazy. Crazy busy. I'm gonna find another place, it's funny, Dry Bar has no problem with their schedules.
