Before you create a Madison Reed account, beware that it's impossibly hard to delete an account. You will be stuck in the Madison Reed world, playing whack-a-mole with your account settings. I never sign up for any subscriptions. The Madison Reed app always asks you to subscribe to their "limitless plus" monthly color bar service and when you're there in person, the colorists will also ask if you'd like to join. 2 stars for a good product, service was alright, coverage on the hair was great, so great that 1/4 of my forehead and my ears were dyed for a few days don't really like that. The issue I have is getting signed up for their "membership" after I told them a few times no thank you. And then to top it off you can't cancel right away, you have to wait for three months and then cancel and then maybe get your money back, we'll see how that goes. Worst experience ever. Hairstylist wasn't listening to my very simple request to add few highlights. I mentioned 5 times that I wanted to few highlights to look inconspicuous, she argued with me every step of the way, and when I requested a mirror to see what she was doing to my hair, she said that didn't have mirrors. Also, its a self blow drying services, meaning , you are not even getting your hair blow dried. I walked out of salon with wet hair. I spent over 200.00 in customizing my color for me, after which I purchased the colors and other products such as a drape to color my own hair on between. Was customer for 1st time and planned to be one for long time. Imagine my surprise when I received no formula in which to duplicate myself with my friend and when we called back for simple instructions on how to replicate my personalized color with what I was sold. They said they could not give it to me, when that was exactly what I paid a premium for.

My advice is DON'T GO HERE! I wish I had read the reviews before I went : ( My daughter had a great experience, so I also made an appointment and tried it out. My hair ended up being "green". Yes, It actually had a green tint to it. The colorist decided to do an ASH low light color to correct the over-blonde color I had from highlights. Big mistake! She should have know this! *** Please Note: This place has a class action Lawsuit against them. They claim their products do not have any harmful ingredients but many women have had their hair destroyed (weed past the "by business owner" pictures on Yelp and you will find a few real customer pictures showing the horrible damage.). My hair stylist is in San Mateo so I thought I would give this place a try. One particular worker was very unprofessional and complained about her personal life and could not keep her facial expressions to herself when examining my hair... made me feel very uncomfortable. The service was basically just applying boxed dye to my hair. Could have done at home myself for cheaper. Did not get the color I wanted

My hair got fried at this location & I had split ends for the first time in my life, I came in with partial highlights that were grown out and where the dye had faded. I specified that I would like my hair to be bleached further up but not reach the root as to not damage the hair follicle entirely and redyed in red. The woman who ended up doing my hair didn't bleach my hair further up at all, so I ended up just paying money to get the area of my hair that was already dyed bleach damaged even further and then dyed.
