Not sure the staff understands (or cares) how to scrub a scalp in a way so as to not cause hair loss. So, your hair looks nice, but you lose a year's worth of hair and you won't know it because the sinks are black. Despite repeated requests, the scrubbing was so intense today, that was what happened. I ended up losing gobs of hair. The staff is remarkably clueless. Nice, but not a clue. You ask that they be gentle, but they don't know what to do with that request. I've gone to a few Madison Reed color bars but I won't go back to the Campbell one again. I felt that the person that did my hair rushed through the process since I was her last client. She had someone else finish with me. I ended up spending close to $300 on my service and I asked for a water. I was told they didn't have waters. The other color bars have little bottled waters. I came in requesting highlights and the result is horrible and my hair is fried. The salon was chaotic to say the least, they kept saying they were understaffed and apologizing so I don't blame the people who work there although I made a point of saying that if I wasn't going to receive good service I could reschedule, I should have! I had long wavy healthy shiny hair that is now orange yellow white and dried up like straw and spent $200 to ruin my hair - it's really not ok -

The business has great quality products. Customer service is a priority to keep a business. Today l had an appointment for root touch and highlights. l am very disappointed.Two diferentes stylish were working with my hair.l don't know why! My highlights were the wrong color. The stylist offered me to fixed it with another color, but l wasn't happy and l told her no. She also gave me the product to do it at home. With almost white highlights l feel very bad. First time here. Highly recommended by my sister. The place over all was nice, clean. Staff was friendly and my hair looks good. I'm happy with the way my hair turned out. My issue is how much of my skin was allowed to get stained. The person who colored my hair seemed to be in a rush because I was her last client. She put some barrier cream on my skin before starting the color job; it seemed rushed, but I thought she knows what she's doing. As soon as she got all the color on my hair she left for the day. I was recommended to try the Madison Reed hair color, I was excited to order 2 boxes for pickup at this store. I was happy that I got help right away and my order was ready when I got there. However, I checked the box, there was only 1 order. The hairstylist went to the back to get me the second box. I realized one of the color conditions was lighter than the other (see my pix), I weighed and it had -2 ounces less than the other. Salon is located in the busy Pruneyard shopping center which can make it a bit difficult to park. I would recommend coming early to get parked and arrive on time for your appt. You can't call to let them know your running late as no one answers. This salon is the same concept as Dry Bar so this is not a full service salon and you get a different colorist each time. The stylist left the color on my hair too long, way past the 35 minutes. It was very dark. I had to go to another salon to get it lightened. Also, The mail order return policy is awful. They will only accept an unopened box within 30 days for return. A normal person would open the box to check that the correct color was included.
