I booked ab appointment for roots touch up, gloss and blow out. I was going in quite skeptical, due an experience at a different location. I was also nervous about the gloss, because I didn't know if it would actually do anything. The staff was kind, and courteous. I was seated pretty quickly. Had a great first-time experience with Lacey at Madison Reed today! Loved the color and how conditioned my hair felt afterwards! I also loved the self-styling bar as I do prefer the way that I blow dry and style my hair and I appreciated being able to try out their hair styling products. Highly recommend!

Yes! I do recommend the Maddison Reed hair color bar at UTC. The Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, quick and masterful at applying color. The color does not seem overly harsh or have smelly chemicals.

My girlfriend told me about this women owned company... I'm so glad she did. I've only had great experiences at the La Jolla location. everyone greets you when you walk in and also knows your name, Which makes me feel great as a customer. The girls do a great job no matter which stylist I get they take the time to go over the color with me and they all have great attitudes. I would totally recommend this Company to anyone that is looking for a great color bar.

Fantastic experience at this color bar. Shout out to Kelsey. She colored my roots, which turned out great. So much better than doing it myself. My Earl Grey tea was also nice, while waiting for the color to set. Another person washed my hair, which was also relaxing. You have the option to dry your hair yourself or have them do it too. I generally do not blow dry my hair thoroughly so just did it myself halfway to air dry. Glad they have this at UTC now.

Took my mom here today. It's a very clean salon that is reasonably priced. Decor is pretty badass too! ;) Tessa helped us get the correct hair color that my mom was looking for and assured us, in the event that it wasn't the right color, we could come back and get a different one at no extra charge. She was extremely thorough and helpful. Tessa was personable, friendly and provided excellent customer service. First time visit. Love the color bar Only concept Jenna did my roots and gloss. Turned out great and I have course grey roots that are resistant to color. I will book again when my roots start to show.

Root touch up and Gloss! I look stunning. I am so glad Donna talked me out of spending more and doing more. You don't always see that in a business but they have me sold. I couldn't get in with my regular gal and had a special event coming up. Instead of coloring my highlights like I kept suggesting she made them Pop! It was a really awesome experience for a very low maintenance gal who was treated like a queen. My hair feels so soft too!
