Terrible-- customer service. Ran 15 minutes late as colorist arrived late to work and then tried to push a less intensive color procedure in order to simplify her effort. Don't go here if you would like highlights or expect a knowledgeable colorist.

Very strange MR salon. Unorganized, annoying staff. I just wanted to get out of there.

if you go here. and, I wouldn't if I were you, be sure you communicate exactly what color you want. I asked for blonde highlights and walked out a brunette. I'm super bummed and the girl that colored my hair never even looked at it after she put the color in she just left the store. Also- they do not blow dry when your done. You have to do it yourself.

I made it clear the day before via text that I must be done by 2:00(appt at 12:30-just roots). I was reassured I would be done in time. There was 1 stylist, 1 @ shampoo station; 1 worker went to lunch. 6 customers getting processed. 2 customers came in and apparently they take priority because that is additional sales, even if they take up 15 minutes of the stylists time while we all sit there. I booked color, full highlights, and blow out a month ago for the week before my 50th birthday. I took the day off work and planned to see friends before the appointment. They cancelled my appointment at 8:00pm the night before. They should pay me for late cancellation. I would have been charged $20 for canceling this late. Completely unprofessional. Then she ghosted me when I texted back. unbelievable. Now they will message and tell me they are "saddened" by my experience. Which does nothing for me.

So disappointed. They did not recognize my first scheduled appointment that I confirmed on line, only to beg to be seen. I cannot use my hairdresser any longer as I am allergic to the chemicals. Madison Reed advertises that they are chemical free. 20 minutes into my base color, it had to be rinsed out due to excruciating itching. I was told that I could not return due to this after paying for my visit, yet I had the option to purchase at home products. UPDATE: I was charged for my appointment 39 DAYS late. My appointment was June 18TH and I have a new pending charge on July 27TH. I'm not sure what kind of business practice this is, but it's unacceptable and ridiculous.

Their customer service is awful! Especially the customer service by Tess... It is great when Claudia is the manager, but unfortunately when she is not there... Tess doesn't manage the place properly. Jess was great and kind. It is unfortunate that one bad employee can ruin a business. Complained to Madison Reed customer service as well!

First time customer here. I did the online quiz to get my hair color matched. I decided to go to the store front in UTC to purchase it and talk with a representative about the products. Big mistake. The girl who helped me had no customer service skills, looked like she just rolled out of bed with 3" black roots with yellow and Orange hair.
