Please be very careful coming here if you are trying to lighten your hair! My hair is literally falling out,l. I have been getting my hair lightened for 15 years and this has never happened to me! And to make matters worse, the hairstylist was blaming me instead of apologizing and was shitty towards me from the jump, saying it's a lot of work. Terrible customer service would not recommend this place. Save your money and go somewhere else

I really wanted to love my experience at Madison Reed because my stylist was so, so sweet, and the customer service was great. But honestly, I was really disappointed with how my hair turned out. I totally get that there are limits to what can be done in one session, but after paying over $200 for "all over color and partial highlight", my hair looked almost exactly the same as when I walked in--except the roots were warmer, and the ends had this weird greenish tint that passed as ash in some lighting. I just left and it looks like I rolled out of bed. I can't make this up. As soon as she said "you're done" I just left... not to mention I told her I want it to be flat... this was less than 5 mins after I left the chair. I shouldn't have to go home and do my hair after spending $87 on it.

Very nice staff, but roots color did not cover at all. One wash at home and roots are silver. Complete waste of time.

hello , I got my hair done and it was so cute at first I got a midnight blue but then days after or a week the color started fading away I'll shower and it'll come out now my hair looks like a brassy color and the color I had before it's still there too it looks like I have 2 colors and I don't feel comfortable UPDATE : they haven't responded to my email this is so irresponsible especially since my hair has been falling 2nd update : I paid in full 208 and they only gave me 127 back only supposedly which it's not acceptable... read more

I should've trusted the reviews. This place is horrible. Employees don't seem to want to be there and don't interact with you at all. I felt uncomfortable from the moment I walked in. They left my hair a mess and told me I could comb it out myself. I went here because my normal place was booked up for weeks and I really needed the color done. I guess that's why I was able to book my appointment just a few days ahead of time here, because they suck.

They are rude from the moment you walk in, and no one seems to care about you or your needs. I had numerous different people do my hair, and it was all done to my surprise. No one greets you at any point throughout the process, even if they are doing your hair. The only real conversation I had was when I was paying at the end. You are left after they wash it to brush your own hair and be on your merry way, it feels as though if you want to be treated as a human being you have to pay the upgrades to earn it. No frills. When you go in you are gray, when you come out you are not. If you are looking for a relaxing or even warm experience, this is not it. This is the McDonalds of hair salons.
