it was a terrible experience. The peopke working there were rude and judgmental. They would not ALLOW me to buy the products I wanted to buy. I will never go to that Madison Reed location again. Horrible.

Not enough staffing. Horrible experience. They forgot about me. I was supposed to get my hair washed after 45 mins however no one checked on me. I was left waiting for additional 30-40 mins. It was only when I flagged down the stylist to tell her my head was starting to burn, she asked another associate to attend to me after she was done washing another client's hair. Then of course all the costumers and I had to dry our own hair. Just didn't seem personal. Really bad first impression and will never return.

Went in thinking they only have one job, color, so they should be able to manage a color match to my dark brown roots. I repeatedly told the stylist Erica that the most important point was to not make my hair inky black. When she was done, my hair was inky black. I was so pissed. I told Erica I was really not liking the inky black. She said it will look different in different lighting. Obviously that was BS. I showed a picture of my hair to the colorist on how I wanted the color to look (covering the roots then doing highlights in red). The colorist then consulted with another colorist and said they could add tinting to my service so it would be all-cover, tinting, and blow out. When 7:00pm came around, they said they didn't have time to do the blow-out, so I had to do the self-dryer. Absolutely rubbish ruined my hair and my hair color, I left in tears!!!! Have a wedding to attend on Friday!!! Staff not helpful at all!!! No advise give no solutions, just stood dumbfounded!!!! I will never go there again n will never recommend to anyone!!!! SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!

I have been a customer of Madison Reed in Roseville for at least 2 years now. But my recent experience was not a good one. The lady who colored my hair could have done better : 1. Left my forehead and sides with hair dye. She let me clean it up myself. 2. While shampooing my hair, she washed my hair with very hot temperature water. I had to tell her it was very hot, she said she cannot feel it. That is kind of concern for a place like this. She also wet the back of my blouse. missed appt took off work got there and they did not have me in the system. never again, had my doughts with all the BAD reviews anyway!

I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone who wants to get their hair done! They seem to know what they're talking about but they really don't! They don't do much hair options, they do only neutral hair colors and root touch! I paid $163 for my hair for some highlights and it look like something I could've done at home! The lady who talked to me was sweet, but I really wouldn't recommend it. If I couldn't just walked out and not pay because all it was brown touch to my hair!!
