Cindi the colorist is terrible. She checked me in 15 min late and without telling me changed my appt from roots gloss and blow out to just roots and blow out . She never came back to check in on me. Then when my stylist took me after waiting 20 minutes over my processing time I asked about the gloss and she said I didn't ask for it. I showed her my email confirmation and she was great she put in a color conditioning mask to help out. But heres the best part and why Cindi is the worst. I went to get my hair colored at this location for the first time, thinking this was the salon to go to where they don't use PPD, Ammonia, etc which are the critical products identified for Allergic reactions. I mentioned to the lady (Natalie) that I have been allergic to hair dyes and had minor reactions such as an itchy scalp, redness on my forehead, and some swelling around my eyes using hair products at other salons. I was very excited to get my hair done at Madison Reed... I made an appointment to get roots and highlights done- the appt was from 3-5... 2 hours right! Well I was there almost 4 hours!!!! Yes 4! And unfortunately not 100% happy with my hair. The accent highlights only show on 1 side and 1 thread‍‍‍ for $140. Not worth it! My hair stylist was Natalie poor thing she was pulled from left and right- managing staff, receptionist, attending me and another customer and few and between us. Handed me a cape and left me hanging for 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment with no explanation. I don't have time for terrible service so I left and won't be back.

Absolutely do NOT waste your time. I booked a Roots + Gloss + Blowout appointment at 2:15 PM and am just now leaving at 6:15 PM...WITH NO BLOWOUT. I had gone over the color I was looking for with my stylist (a deep wine color because I have dark in already). I asked my stylist several times to confirm I wouldn't have a ring of color around my hair because the body would just be deep brown/no color. My visit on 10/19/22, was my 2nd and unfortunately my last with Madison Reed. I believe the customer service & treatment by the store manager was racially biased on the following: Contentious, when I asked for my root touch up to be lighter than I had the first time. Why would you recommend my root touch up be the same color, you applied the first time, when I explained I wasn't happy with the dark-ashy color, which made me look more older!
