I won a raffle with a gc for a color and blow dry here and went last week. Though the colorist was very sweet, everything she did was wrong -- she completed massacred the color (I had told her I just wanted the roots done and in my light blond color). It wound up a dark ash. She had no idea how to style my very easy-to-blow out straight short cut. This place doesn't even deserve one star. It's absolutely disgusting: the staff is horrific. They are not trained professionals and they have no idea how to color hair. Beware do not go here!!!! Steer clear

Their Root Reboot leaked,splattered and got all Over me when I used it. After cleaning up the mess all over myself and the bathroom floor,I wen to MR UES to replace the Root Reboot and found another woman there complains of the same problem. The sales people were unapologetic. Plus,I have been to the salon and can understand why it hasn't caught on. Awful. Awful. Awful. I had a services booked for myself and my mother. On the day of, we ran into some travel issues with the trains getting into Manhattan and had to reschedule. I called in, and was met with the most obnoxious, rude and snarky attitudes among the front desk. I believe the woman's name was Jess. She rudely explained to me that there was a 20 dollar rescheduling fee plus 50% of the cost of the service for rescheduling or canceling on the same day. I'm sorry but that is INSANE. I was disappointed by this place. While the decor is beautiful and the front desk folks were supernice, I wasn't 100% satisfied with the job the colorist did. Like another reviewer said, they weren't able to match my color exactly so my roots are lighter than my black hair (maybe get some Asian hair colors?). Also the colorist missed some spots! Horrible!! I drove into NYC (40 minutes each way) for Madison Reed to color match my hair to their hair color. I bought their recommended "color reboot' and I followed the managers instructions and the instructions on the box. When I rinsed out the color, there were still grey hairs!! I even left it in for an extra 5 minutes as per the managers advice. On the box there was a customer service number, which I called.
