Garbage customer service. If an item is not in stock, the employee should offer to call other stores and see if it is in stock at another location. Telling the customer that they can call another store themselves is poor customer service. Also, employees should not have iPhone earbuds in their ears while attending to customers.

I insisted on caramelizing my long hair several times. I put the photo of the hair color I wanted on my phone so that it would bring me a dark brown color, almost like black. Color literacy and not having any expertise, they are just waiting to get money. I am not really happy with this hair color. I do not recommend it to anyone

very unhappy with the results. I decided to try this place despite some negative reviews. I booked a single process and asked the colorist not to make my hat darker but just remove the reddish tone I was not happy about from my previous color. she chose and dark shade and the outcome is a black hair. I asked for a full head of highlights and explained that it is my way of gradually going full blonde without ruining my hair. I admit, the hair stylist was paying attention to details and not cutting corners (which also resulted in me staying over 2 hours longer than anticipated), but when my hair fully dried I realized that there were two RECTANGLES of dark hair completely missed for no reason on EACH SIDE of my head... youre charged extra fees without knowing it. and they don't wash the dye properly out of your hair. color is great. pricing and washing is not. Caroline Eichman

Went in for color to match my color - dark blonde with highlights - came out a brunette with red highlight. What an enormous screw up! Also, they are extreme short staffed and my 4:15 appt didn't get started until 5:15.

I've been going to Madison Reed for root touch ups for the past four months after using at home coloring for 20 years to cover my greys. I quickly noticed bald patches around my hair line, but attributed it to a medical condition as Madison Reed claims they do not use ammonia or any other harsh chemicals. Would give a zero if I could. I have been having my roots done for the last 30 years and NEVER had my hair fall out EVER!!! I also hardly write negative reviews, I try to give compliments when I can.
