My husband and I sat at the bar and had our drink and food orders in fairly quickly, so things started off well. My husband had to ask three times just to get a glass of water -- not ideal, but we let it slide. The food was decent, though a bit overpriced for what it was. The real issue was the service. Despite having two bartenders on, it took over 20 minutes for me to get a second drink. I came in so hungry.. left disappointed! I stopped in on a cold /rainy day and really wanted a bowl of hot chowder.. fail... my chowder came room temp at best. Do you know how nasty cold soup is when expecting hot..gross.. i also ordered a NY strip cooled medium and steamed sweet potatoes. The sweet potatoes were really good. My "medium" steak was super rare in the center and the cut was very grainy. Overall.. I shoukda read the reviews prior to eating here.. a bunch of racists bitches especially the manager I ordered on the actual website not through door dash they charged my card twice but gave me one of my orders I showed them that I have 2 confirmation emails she still told me she wasn't giving me a refund nor would she make the other order I have to reorder from the same website that never put my order through the first time and still charged me ... unbelievable I will never eat at this establisment again

Stopped in for lunch and weee seated immediately. Server took our drink orders and left us to go through the massive menu. Menu has everything you could ever want given its size . Actually too much to digest in one sitting. We finally decided on the Waldorf chicken salad with tater tots, bacon cheeseburger, substituting blue cheese dressing for the American cheese, French fries and added French onion soup for an additional charge. Not a great experience. The only reason I might return in the french onion soup. The restaurant is located across from the hotel so it was very convenient and I was quickly seated and offered a menu. Not crowded by any means. Plenty of empty tables and seats at the bar. Eventually the bartender came by and took my drink order. (Not a huge selection of beers I drink). A ruben sandwich for almost $19? Looked like it should have been $8.95, not even good. If you order a cobb salad they always leave off the avocado. Haven't been here in a while, hasn't changed still hit or miss.

dont go here unless you want your money taken after tipping well and get cut off because they are "not comfortable" serving you because of a "previous incident"....I work too hard for my money and we were not being obnoxious...if you serve the public you better be comfortable serving your customers...I will not spend my money at this over rated inflated business ever again...explain that to your regional manager

We're sitting in Maggie McFly's right now. It's 630 Friday evening March 15, 2024. I will never come back here again. They totally are disrespectful. My husband ordered a Ruben. It was chunks of corn beef. I had a taco which had no flavor. The rice was all stuck together, and it was not a good flavor. $71 for food and drinks for two people totally not worth it. We complain to the manager who absolutely did nothing but tell us to come in and spend another $70 and try our luck again and I'm not willing to spend that wheel... read more

I've given this place a couple of try's. Horrible service at the bar. Attempted to order more food after apps and the bar tender never came back. Canned drink from the cooler was warm. Overall a poor and disappointing experience. Can't blame it on a single group of servers. The place was not busy. It's the culture of restaurant. Sadly I won't be back. Stay away, there are better options in Glastonbury.
