I came here for a retirement party. The digs are gorgeous. Nicely adorned, long, double-sided bar, and the room we were in was very spacious. We were given a choice of three entrées. And that's what we got...entrees! Lol can't blame the restaurant though, I'm sure those arrangements were made in advance. I had a hanger steak dish which was tasty enough and filling. Not worth it. Terrible service, very slow in the kitchen, food arrived without condiments and missing pickles on a hamburger. Fries weren't hot. Server never checked in on us while waiting a long time for the food.

Terrible establishment. Horrible experience with corporate. Love when theyblame the consumer for wrong doing. What a joke this place is. Would recommend any other place rather than this place. Hit and miss. Today was a miss. It happens, but with increasing regularity. This place should be 5 stars each and every time. They have everything right on paper, but they fail so often in the simple things. Waiting at the hostess station for 10 minutes to be acknowledged, let alone seated, is a common occurrence. I have always loved going to Maggie's because they offer gluten free food. The last time I went the server who brought our food out was extremely rude when I asked if the food was gluten free because it did not have the normal gluten free pick on it. The server said well it's looks gluten free. I asked to speak with a manager and was told it was gluten free I became extremely sick and had to leave. I understand there is always a risk but staff should be knowledgeable when it comes to allergies. ( Autoimmune)

My wife and I went back on Dec. 27, 2025. The meal itself was fine but when it came time to pay the bill, I used a Vanilla Visa gift card. When the waitress came back with the processed bill it showed that a 20% tip was already charged to the card. I was probably going to give it anyway but I inquired why they did that. we waited a long time, texted us at 6:58 and said our table was getting cleared and than forgot about us. everyone that came in after us was seated so we asked if our table was ready. finally seated at 7:20. slow to take our order, messed up a simple salad with chicken and never refilled our water. we were a party of 5 but a party of 7,,5, 4 were all seated before us even though they came in after us.

My wife and I visited the Manchester Connecticut location around 4 PM this evening.
