My wife and I went back on Dec. 27, 2025. The meal itself was fine but when it came time to pay the bill, I used a Vanilla Visa gift card. When the waitress came back with the processed bill it showed that a 20% tip was already charged to the card. I was probably going to give it anyway but I inquired why they did that. we waited a long time, texted us at 6:58 and said our table was getting cleared and than forgot about us. everyone that came in after us was seated so we asked if our table was ready. finally seated at 7:20. slow to take our order, messed up a simple salad with chicken and never refilled our water. we were a party of 5 but a party of 7,,5, 4 were all seated before us even though they came in after us.

My wife and I visited the Manchester Connecticut location around 4 PM this evening. We were seated quickly but had no one approach to greet us at our table take drink orders or even check to see if we needed time to make a selection, which we would not have had any issue with as we were seated for a full half hour during which we watched as three other groups came in, were seated, and placed orders after we had already been sitting with our menus closed. We always come back because we like the food but the service is piss poor 200% of the time. 10 minutes to get acknowledged by any staff member in an empty bar at the bar top and another 15 for a drink with zero sense of urgency from any staff.

I've been for family dinners a few times, it never gets any better. It would be nice if they could focus on quality over quantity of meals. Service is fine enough, the food just doesn't get the job done. As it stands, Maggie McFly's is on my avoid list solely due to the low quality of their food.

We went to Maggie's when our kids got back from their as we never tried it before, and it was very disappointing. The service was really not that great, but let's start with the food. The menu is very large I ordered the mixed grill salad. The steak that was on there was inedible. So inedible we grout it home and the dogs didn't want it, they could not chew it so how was I supposed to chew it the fries that my wife and daughter they were cold and hard. --- I recently visited this location again after a few years and was highly disappointed. We received better service at the bar than from our waitress, who was completely inattentive, forgot one of our entrees, and was listening to music on her AirPods??? Hi Mai, I am a bit confused by your rating. If you were not happy with where you were seated and let us know, we would have certainly found you a more comfortable place to sit. Considering the rating system is based on your whole experience, not just where you were sat, I would implore you to reconsider and base your rating on your full dining experience.
Everyone loves this place. I think it's okay. Only reason I come here is for the drinks at the bar. Service isn't great when dining in. Their menu is huge which makes their food not so great. I've had their club sandwich and it's not bad. Their fries are decent when they come out hot. Pasta is a negative along with the burgers. The bar area is really nice. Dining area is nice too. I say go for drinks and don't eat there. There's better places for food.
