My Philly cheese steak was hamburger not shaved beef and had a piece of grizzle in it. The chili tasted like it came out of a can with a load of cheese on top. Disappointed with the quality of their food.

What a disappointment! I am employee for a local medical facility and visit this location a few times a year with my coworkers for different events or meetings. Normally I like this place quite a bit but this time I was very unhappy with the outcome of my food. I have come here countless times and it seems that the food has slowly become worse and worse. I ordered a burger medium/medium rare on a pretzel bun. When it came served it was on a regular toasted bun and the bun was soaked with grease and blood and fell apart when I picked it up. The food is ok and they have a huge menu. My issue is that I was seated outside the kitchen. The cooks and food preparers were NOT wearing gloves as they handled people's' food. I will not be returning

Hi Karen, I appreciate your feedback. Our cooks are trained very thoroughly in food handling and safety. While it is required to wear gloves for certain tasks, gloves are not required at all times. We are very thorough in our procedures to prevent cross contamination. There are several hand-washing stations in our kitchen for this specific reason. I apologize if this prevents you from returning but I did want to mention that not wearing gloves is common practice among restaurants.
Been here maybe 5-6 times in the past. Service at the bar was always decent and so were the apps. Ordered four different small plates today and was very disappointed with one. Ordered the panko fried avocado for $5 and what we were served was 4 tiny limp avocado strips with very little coating , not crispy at all. My wife and I had one each and realized how bad they were. We came for brunch on a Sunday at 10. The place was empty, two other patrons present. We stood at the reception area for 15 minutes before finally a waitress coming on off the street to work came in and saw us and seated us. Then we waited another 10 minutes before a waiter came over. I waited 18 mins for water and service. Food wasn't very good at all! Eggplant fries were cold and veggie pot stickers still chilly in the middle. It was my first time here and I would never come again! Waitress was rude and said she forgot I was here because I went to the bathroom for two minutes.
