I just purchased a 2018 F150 Platinum from Mall of Georgia Ford in Buford, Georgia. I really like this truck; highly recommended, but keep reading. BOTTOM LINE FIRST: This purchase was the single worst new vehicle transaction I've encountered in my 56 years on this planet. The F150 is a great vehicle; buy it somewhere else. Well Mall of Georgia Ford you asked me to leave a review of my recent service appointment on Facebook only your Facebook page has not been set up to receive reviews and is not even safe to link to according to Firefox since you left it open to data theft. Last week I brought my 2005 Ford Expedition in to have the transmission checked as I was noticing a hesitation when shifting at 40 mph. Very disappointed. Had a scheduled service to fix a rattle in the sunroof and windshield washer pump not working. Rearrange my work schedule to make this appointment. When I arrived Marylin didn't seem to recall the reason for the service. She wrote me up for an oil change? When I reminded her the reasons for my service, she told me I would have to reschedule next week!! When I explained my challenges for rescheduling and that I am here now! It went on deaf ears. Horrible experience with the service department. My focus stutters and shakes when accelerating after a stop. These stops include stop lights, stop signs, and initial pull off after starting the car. The stuttering also occurs when going up a hill and turning a corner. Basically, whenever the gas pedal is pushed, the car stutters. 172 point inspection they say. I call BS. I bought a jeep wrangler soft top and I was told numerous times that it did not leak that they had checked it time and time again. Lets just say every time it rains I have a bowl and towels to catch all the water that pours in. They have crappy service and the sells men could give one crap less about you once you sign on that line.

Watch out for 'shady deals'! I was getting ready to purchase a brand new Focus ST. After dealing back and forth with the salesman and the finance guys, they finally got the price down to where I was satisfied. I had not been asked if I was interested in an extended warranty or protection plan, or was shown anything about them either. Worst service ever. Made an appointment for an oil change and dropped the car off. Two hours later we call to see if it was done and when someone answered, instead of answering the question, they transferred me to voicemail. Drove back up to the dealership only to find out they hadn't even started the car. Cher said that if you leave they will put people that wait on their cars in front of you, this would've been some good information to know before we left. Today I experienced the worst service at a Ford dealership I have ever had. I dropped a truck off at 9:00 am for an oil change and tire rotation, the service writer told me it would be ready by 1:00. I called twice during the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 to get an update on the truck. Neither time did I get an answer, I left a voicemail, no call back. Stay away!! Came to mall of Georgia Ford to charge my vehicle but after a few mins was kicked off the property by the Dealership Manager with a smart remark and degrading comments. As a electric car owner we use a application that tells us where are nearest charging stations. These stations are through out business, including car dealerships (to attract your business in the future).
