ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! Staff was completely unprofessional and uncaring and should not be aloud to care for anyone. Patients are left unattended in hallways and a patient was forgotten in the bathroom for hours while I was there. I was there for 6 hours and received no medical attention or medication for my injuries. Upon my arrival I was left in a bed for 3 hours with no response to the nurse call button. I would have called 911 if I had access to a phone and was forced to take an ambulance back to the hospital the same day... read more

I only wish they had thrown me out. Apparently, no one was waiting for my bed so I was held there against my will for three weeks. My discharge papers stated that they were to make an appointment with my surgeon within two weeks. They waited three weeks and after I received my release from the surgeon they would not order an ambulance to take me home and held me against my will for six more days. Horrible!!! with a capital H! My mother was there for a few weeks until they "kicked" her to the curb! My mom was told she had to leave after her Medi-Care coverage was used up. In addition my mom has Medi-Cal coverage which kicks in automatically but Mckinley refused to accept it! McKinley Health refused to take her Medi-Cal coverage. Total scam. This place defrauds the elderly and regular working folks by design. Here's their scheme. They take a huge deposit up front, I'm talking about thousands. Then eventually they get paid by your medical insurance. After they get that payment, you should then see your deposit back. That's where they trap you. You will never see that deposit again. After my Eskaton fiasco I took the time to visit this place and Windsor. The first thing I have to stay is that parking is horrible. Since it is located in downtown area the building does not have any parking at the front. You must drive a block behind the building. Parking was small, crowded and tight. Since you have to park in the back, you also have to enter through the back and then walk all the way to the front of the building to see the receptionist.
