My father was genuinely taken care of by the nurses and therapists during his stay last month. His therapist Mark was really good at getting him to participate and get him stronger and Jeana was his favorite.

I have been at this facility for over a week now at first it was a bumpy ride. After they got the routine though this place ended up helping me so much with my Rehabilitation and my care. I think the best part about this facility was the physical therapy department they were miraculously helpful. Specifically I want to mention Mike and Jeana from physical therapy. I can't say enough great things about this place!! I had my second knee surgery at Mercy General and was recommended to this rehab center. From the moment I got there to the moment I left, the staff at McKinley Park were on top of it. Everyone was so attentive to my needs, and trust me I am a very picky person. The therapists Mark, Jeanna, Rich thank you so much for getting me back walking again and gaining the strength I needed to go home. The nurses I had were all great. After 6 days at Mercy for back surgery my insurance gave me 3 choices for short term rehab. I have a OT in the family and they recommended McKinley. I arrived at 3pm on a Sunday & didn't receive any pain meds till 10am Monday...........not a good night. This was my first time in a care center and really had know idea what to expect. The therapy team was by at 11am and gave me a complete check in/out. I learned very quickly you get what you put in, if you wanted to spend the day in bed they moved on to the next person. To the staff of McKinley Park Care Center, My name is Daniel Kreb. I was in room 38. I did not want to come here because my dad was here, but when I got here the staff treated me like family and I felt very comfortable with everyone, all the Nurses, Therapy staff and Administration staff; they were the very best! First of all, allow me to disclose to everyone that this is based on my experience. It does not reflect what others think. This facility was my last choice in the selection process because I trusted yelp. Sometimes in life, you just have to take what you know use it to make calculated decisions.
