Greatest printer yet! This is a great printer, scanner, copier. I've had HP and Epson devices for years now and this is hands down the best by far. I bought it after finding a website by a printer expert. He recommended it and boy was he right! First, it has all the features I really need such as double-sided printing and scanning, etc. Second, it uses little ink. Very good machine. Only flaw in its programming is that ... Very good machine. Only flaw in its programming is that default setting in copy mode is to stack instead of sort. So if you are making multiple copies of a document with more than one page, you have to take the time to hack through the copy program and reset the stack/sort option to sort. Worse than that the option automatically resets itsel to stack, so that you have to wast the time to set to sort every time you make such copies. Recommend that Brother fix this by... read more

Ok printing, bulky, complicated. Chose this because of the one-pass duplex scanning and because we've had good luck at our office with another Brother printer. It does scan with one pass, but scan to PC is complicated. Printing is ok in general, but using the inkvestment ink on glossy paper resulted in significant smearing, even after a full weekend of drying/setting. Machine is very large and heavy. Workhorse with many improvements This is a true workhorse. My older Brother has to run through a session of clicking before printi g, this baby prints and prints very fast. Excellent clear characters and the colors on regular paper are bright and close to perfect. Scanning is just as fast and accurate. The ADF is also just as fast and duplex with 1 scan. GREAT PRINTER!! Great!!! I wish that I could give it more stars. I'm so sick of HP and Epson. I think that I will never buy those two printer brands again. Especially the Epson was terrible with ink usage. This Brother holds 500 (600) sheets of paper and I don't run out of ink in a month.
Great Printer! Fast and Looks Good Too! I have had a great number of printers over the years. HP, Samsung, Epson, Canon, and now this Brother printer. So far, this is the best printer I've owned. Very fast printing. Especially for multiple pages. Great print both black and color. I have 1 color print label that the colors don't seem to be correct. But everything else is great! Easy, wireless set up This machine is on the large size, which makes it a little impractical for home use. It is best suited for business. It was very easy to set up. I just plugged the machine into the electric outlet, inserted the disc into my computer, and turned the machine on. After a few clicks of the mouse, it was done and I was able to print.
