Total Waste of Money This printer can supposedly print 1200 color pages with one set of ink cartridges. More like 20 pages. I have not owned this printer for a full year and only occasionally use it to print. At least once a week the print head cycles and makes a bunch of noise while the printer sits their idle. just couldn't set up the wireless nd connect it to internet just personal printing, occasional scans. ran out of ink already
NOT COMPATIBLE WITH AIRPRINT DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER IF YOU PLAN TO PRINT FROM AN IPHONE. It does not use AirPrint. You have to use a separate app - you cannot just print from the app you're in, such as email, photos, etc. The process of going through the printer app is very tedious, and the printing from it is extremely slow.

No ink cartridges came with product , but seller is sending new one There were no ink cartridges in the box with the printer, without ink cartridges the printer will not let you move to the next step of setting up the scanner function (no ink needed) to scan or connect to my wifi to get a paper document to an electric document. The seller has contacted me and will be sending a new printer cartridge. Thank you.
Buy something else This is the slowest printer I have owned since my dot matrix printer died 30 years ago. I have problems all the time connecting it to my HP computer, and it is very difficult to change the settings. Two years ago I bought a different Brother printer which my mother borrowed (apparently permanently) and it was wonderful. This model is not good. I bought it as Costco last December; the price was better, but I wish I'd bought it from Amazon because their customer service is better.
Poor printer over all This printer is one of the worst I have owned. It will not connect to my iPhone and now will not connect wirelessly to my laptop. The print quality is poor with lines through the pictures. And it prints SO SLOWLY. I bought this because Consumer report rated them highly. I don’t know where they got their information from. If I could return this I would. I will be purchasing a better printer.
Brother will not pear up with other device's. Brother will not pear up with other new device's. This printer is also very slow.
