Did not work3 mths. Paper tray. Was not happy with the printer. Paper tray messed up. Never could get it to work.
Dissapointed in print speed and print quality Very disappointed in this printer. It prints extremely slow, and does not print that great of quality. It works, but not efficiently or effectively.
Printer failed to detect ink cartridge after 100 pages printed This printer is very nice except for the reliability. Mine failed because it couldn't detect the black ink cartridge after printing less than 100 pages. After several hours of troubleshooting and then having to repeat it all again with an online chat session, they finally agreed to send me a replacement machine.
Buyer Beware! Bought Brother printer as I was told that you get what you pay for (well over $100). Have had a couple of months and, though I rarely print (an odd item a few times a week), it tells me I am out of ink. I pull out cartridge, and the black is nearly full! After waiting on hold for 15 minutes, customer service tells me that I MUST purchase color cartridges, even though I do not use them! Full replacement cartridge costs $70. Problem is, the consumables cost even more than the original product!
Getting the printer and the computer to find each other. Very difficult to set up, connection from computer to printer (wireless) very difficult. Customer Service struggled trying to help. Not a first time Brother user but will have to think hard about another Brother product.
Prints Slow/This Paper Tray This product gives you your money’s worth per say. It prints extremely slow! If you don’t need to make lots of copies or have plenty of time to spare while copies are being made this my be the printer for you.

Impossible to type w/o a keypad; just try to enter a WEP on a numbers only pad. Forget WiFi, just plug it into you device. Or go to my better choice, HP.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. THE COMPANY IS AS BAD AS THIS PRODUCT. WARNING! The printer has not worked well since we purchased it. It can’t find itself in its own box let alone any device locating it. I called the Philippines numerous times and they can’t get tO work either. After almost a year they tell me my WiFi box is not compatible with the printer.
