    difficult setup & printing issues i HATE wireless printers! just give me a usb connection any day. this is a piece of garbag and i'm sorry i ever bought it. I still can’t sync it with my laptop and the included disk is useless. So I use my phone to print but now I have huge blocks of missing text. Apparently my print nozzles were incredibly dirty because it took 3 cleanings to get a halfway decent print. I’ve only been using it for about 2 weeks.

    What a terrible purchase This was very hard to set up. Spent 3 hrs with customer service trying to set it up. Ink is very very expensive. Set of 4 is $90 plus. Very slow color printing. I should have done more research. Was in a hurry, won't make this mistake again.

    Out of ink on initial setup and Horrible Customer Service Frustrated. On initial setup, am receiving an Error message of “Cannot Print - the printer does not have enough ink to maintain print quality”. Seeing as this is the first time I’m setting up the printer and have not yet printed anything yet AND this printer includes “1 year of ink in-box” the fact that it is saying the printer does not have enough ink..... ???? I figured this was just an ink issue, pretty easy to remedy, just send me the replacement ink and I can be ... read more

    takes forever to set up, print quality is lousy for photos Took forever to set up (this stuff is usually quick and easy for me), print quality is lousy for photos, and takes forever to print them. Very, very disappointed. Sent it back.

    Spent an entire evening installing it and NOTHING, NADA, ZERO result Don't you love it when you set up everything according to the instruction and still nothing works? Spent an entire evening on setting up this idiotic device and am not looking forward to spending half a day tomorrow calling Brother customer support. Why can't they make printers like they make iPhones? Seamless and easy to use?

    Not great The printer was good for a couple months but after then it started having lines and issues and I have not been thoroughly impressed with color Brother printers they're black and white printers are great

    Can randomly omit text from your document. Not good. This printer distorts text. I have an e-mail with driving directions, which were detailed and correct until I printed them on my new printer. A critical portion of the text was just dropped/omitted from the printed directions. I am so mad that I can’t return this piece of garbage. Very angry and disappointed. I thought Brother was supposed to be one of the best out there. NOT!!!!!

    Just a Bad Experience I knew it would be a chore to set up, but mostly you are waiting for updates. The printer worked as a wireless printer on my phone, from my laptop, and from my iPad. Just not for very long. On the fourth print, the paper jammed. I cleared the jam. The printer showed an error code. I tried, over and over, to find a paper jam, but the printer was basically dead.
