This printer needs help I have yet to find anything good about this printer. It may be good if you use it every day. This is one of the problems with ink, it will dry in a few days and you have to clean the nozzle which will take some time. This printer will require you to clean the nozzle over night. This printer may be OK for a business which will be in use every day but not used one day every week. This is not good with the ink drying in just a few days does not rate high. Doesn’t support Apple AirPrint I bought this to print from my Apple devices. The box says that it will print from your mobile devices so I made the assumption that it would print from iPhones, iPads, etc. It will if you reboot the printer before each printing.Apple support has a list of about 100 Brother printers that support AirPrint but this one isn’t on the list. Live and learn.
Stay Away Never Prints This printer is junk, paperweight junk! I will not replace the ink, to the trash it goes! Just like most Brother printers it goes to sleep and never wakes back up to print. Save your money!
Built to last, two months. Don’t buy! Purchased this a few months ago, printed my taxes this weekend, and now have an error code that there is a paper jam. After going through the trouble shooting, I’ve been informed it needs to be sent in for service. The printer was set up and hasn’t moved, nor is there any type of paper jam. Ridiculous that it is now inoperable after such a short amount of time, and very little usage. I’d like a refund!
Don' waste your money on this piece of garbage. What a piece of junk. First off the "starter" ink that comes with this is practically empty on arrival so even if I could get past setup it wouldn't have lasted a month before I would have to shell out half the value of the printer just on ink. Second setup takes forever and is far from a simple process. Poor Scan This unit does not scan well, especially photos. They're fuzzy and dark. There is no USB or memory card slot.
This printer is not fast and you can't make double sided copies easily I bought this printer to replace an Epson WF-3540 and I'm not satisfied at all. I would return it except that I needed it to print a lot for me, so it's definitely used. This printer is not fast and I can't do duplex printing, and the quality is just not as good as what I am used to. I do not recommend this printer. I will probably give it to one of my children as it would be suitable to print school papers.
Worst printer I have ever owned. Used this printer at home , malfunctioned on a regular basis.
1) Can only print one pg @ a time; 2)Awful screen menu 1 Printing a simple letter, but continually says there is a jam when printing more than one page. Must stop, no jam, but must go thru the motions like there is one in order to go on to print another one page only. GRRRRR! 2 Tiny screen with program, impossible to read for old folk with bad eyes.
