Miami Arts Charter is the perfect school for aspiring artists. The arts programs offer quality training. Besides education, the teachers try their hardest to give each student new opportunities by exposing them to performance opportunities, workshops, and master classes with professionals. I’m a senior in dance that can speak from experience. The faculty does a great job in treating students like adults ready to enter adultshood as a profesional artist.
From all the years I've been in this school I can safely say it gives me a good opportunity to be successful, however, in the past year the new teachers have been not experienced enough for me to feel like I'm learning what I need.
I really like the diversity and acceptance displayed with the student body. The staff want to see you pass and want to see you excel and learn. The school is focused on the arts and so a lot of people are encouraged to break out their comfort zone and train and we get access to a lot of opportunities you wouldn't get in a low funded arts program in another school.
I've been going to this school for 7 years now (6th to 12th grade); I really don't want to leave. I'm in the theater program, and it is one of the most professional and loving environments I've been in. Students are taught to push themselves, to take on leadership roles, and are honestly worked to the bone (at least in high school). This school is a 3/5 because it gives a lot of opportunities to the student, if wanting to purse the art as their career. Academic wise, isn’t as good but in Miami, it’s average. The food is amazing($5) and sports is nonexistent
I have deeply enjoyed my time at Miami Arts Charter School. I have been going there since middle school. All the teachers are very kind and they truly care about their students.
It is a great school that is centrally focused on visual and preforming arts. The academics are also very good and you can tell that the teachers enjoy what they teach and they really care about the student’s understanding of the topics. MAC is a school that gives you the chance to be yourself and channel all your creativity and passion into your art and I am glad to have been given the amazing opportunity of attending this school since the 6th grade.
I liked the diversity, i loved the art programs they offered, teachers really cared about their students!
An amazing performing Arts School. One of the best of Miami! The teachers are spectacular and extremely qualified. They have an extremely supportive and accepting environment that helps every student grow into an amazing artist.
