I think the teachers are great. They really care about the kids and are always people you can count on, very comforting. I have my personal opinions of the amount of freedom the kids get at the school.
Honestly couldn't have asked for a better school to graduate from. As someone who didn't really fit into the public school scene, I can say I always felt at home when attending Miami Arts Charter. Many teachers I had, or came across, were very caring towards us students, and sometimes even served as "parental figures" whenever some of us felt misguided in the world. Good school but does not do enough to help with college readiness. Good with arts but does not offer and classes that will help me prepare for the next level of education.
Honestly a great school to enroll in. Instead of just judging by academics, they also look for talent and the teachers in this school are good teachers.
I liked how open and supportive everyone is at MAC. At MAC you can find long lasting friendships and bonds. This is the school that you can call home.
I have loved being at MAC for the 7 years I've attended. The arts are great, as is the high school education. The artistic culture throughout the school is positive and the concerts are beautiful. The teachers help you with anything that you need, and support you in all of your artistic endeavors.
In Miami Arts Charter is very efficient in its teaching of the different arts. Many students learn their art since they enter middle school and sometimes go to college to study their art. Even if a student isn't interested in studying their art at college level, they are still able to practice and enjoy their art as a hobby. The academic instruction is also very thorough. One of the better schools to attend in Miami. Most teachers are very educated and fun to work with. It isn’t the most organized school but the art programs are very rigorous and push the students.
At MAC, I always felt under represented and mistreated by peers and sometimes faculty. I really appreciated the friends and teachers that I was able to gain while at the school.
