Today, 10/23, the woman behind the counter at 930am was rude. I came in for a tdap and had other questions. At first she said they were out of tdap but went back to check. She then came back and said she was wrong. Then I proceeded to ask a basic question of if they draw BMP and lipid panels. She rolled her eyes and said yes and for me to ask more questions once I go in the back. She abruptly stopped me from asking questions which I thought was rude and unnecessary. She then apologized to the couple behind me. What was she s... read more

I've gone to this clinic many times but won't be going back. I went in with a severe cough and after testing negative for covid 19 was basically given cough medicine and told to come back in a week if it was still bothering me. A few days later I'm out of the cough syrup (they prescribed enough for 10 doses) and called to ask for a prescription refill and they refused saying I'd need to come back in... for cough syrup. How ridiculous that they'd want me to come into the office and expose myself to covid-19 not to mention pay... read more

This place sucks. Service is awful. I made an appointment for 1:30 and I've been sitting here for an hour waiting to get looked at. People don't get priority if you have an appointment. Go somewhere else, don't waste your time or money.

After many attempts to hear a response from Midwest Express Clinic, I have not heard back from any of the people I was instructed to contact to resolve billing issues. I have been informed by a collection agency that they will be reporting my bill to credit agencies, so unfortunately I now have to pay it, PLUS a "fees" amount that was tacked on. NEVER go to this place if you want a place with fair billing practices, who actually addresses your concerns. You can tell from multiple reviews of this place that deceptive billin... read more

I had a covid test done back in January. My insurance covered the test itself, but I was recently billed for the telehealth visit where they gave me my results. So basically, I'm on the hook to pay $85 just for them to take 30 seconds on a video call to tell me my results. Any other provider would just give you the results over the phone or online and not charge you. What a scam.

Business response:

Dear Devinne, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. At a time that works best for you, please call our patient advocate number at 773-217-9011 for further assistance. We look forward to hearing from you.

I went for a COVID test back in October, and the process was admittedly quick and easy, but a month or so later I got a bill for it. But COVID tests are free nation wide. Now, a few months later, they have reported me to a credit collection agency...for a COVID test??? And now what is supposed to be free for all US citizens may affect my credit report for years to come. Seems absolutely despicable. I wish I had never gone here for my test.

Business response:

Claire, we are very sorry to hear this. We cannot guarantee that COVID-19 testing is free for anyone. We are not affiliated with any government agencies that allow us to test for free. At your earliest convenience, please contact our patient advocate line for further assistance at 773-217-9011. Thank you.

Got a covid test which was supposed to be free. They called me to tell me my results. Apparently me answering the phone was a $30 fee. They've sent this bill to collections now. Thanks Midwest Express. Scammers

I'm hear for COVID testing, and I'm being forced to wait outside, in 30 degree weather while it's starting to lightly snow. I understand a waiting room can be a hotspot, but there's gotta be a better system than this. I already feel terrible, and making me wait out in this weather makes me feel worse. Get it together Midwest Express
