It was Sunday afternoon and my husband had a fever of 104 degrees F. He has a history of UTIs due to urinary retention. As a Infection Control Nurse, I was happy to see that this clinic and staff were closely following CDC recommendations for COVID-19 precautions. Nurse Practitioner was professional and very detailed. Excellent care without having to go to Emergency Room. Far better experience then the limited care provided at CVS Minute Clinic.

I walked in today needing to see the doctor. My experience from being greeted, triaged then meeting the doctor Nicole Harris was superb. The young lady at the front answered all my payment questions. The nurse was efficient and friendly and finally when I met with Dr Harris she was very attentive I felt she did a very through examination and asked the right questions. Nurse Practitioner Jessica Borst at Midwest Express Clinic is worth her weight in gold. In the past month, in a series of unfortunate events, my whole family was treated by her -- my husband, for a bad dog bite to his hand; my son, for what was thought to be strep but turned out to be an abscess in his throat that could have grown and suffocated him had Jessica not caught it and correctly diagnosed it in time for proper emergency treatment; and finally, she patched me up and gave me excellent wound care advice after I receiv... read more

I had a very good experience here. They for me in quickly, were courteous and on top of things. It was my second time to urgent care in 3 days (ear infection had gone undiagnosed). They also called back to check on me and discuss test results. The only thing lacking was that I expected an email that I didn't get, otherwise very helpful and supportive.

Horrible. The front desk affirmed that my insurance was accepted and that I owed the facility nothing for my visit. If I had known I would receive a bill for close to $300 afterwards, I absolutely would never ever have gone through with the visit. The office gave NO INDICATION that I should expect a bill. They just took my insurance and said I had no co-pay and it is OUTRAGEOUS given that I spent a maximum of ten minutes with a crabby RN and ten minutes with a MD who confirmed that I had the flu. Went in with the flu (in my house 2 confirmed). I asked the staff for a pcr flu test, because I was sure the symptoms were coming, rapid test were not positive, and wanted to get ahead of it. I don't want to isolate my newborn any longer! They made me feel stupid, like there is no such thing as a pcr flu test and denied me the tamaflu which is the obvious solution. I scheduled an appointment online for a Covid vaccine and a flu vaccine. I received a text to confirm, which was a good reminder and comforting as the patron. I arrived and was instructed to use my phone to scan a QR code. Reception was poor in the lobby so after trying for a few minutes, I asked for the WiFi password due to the limited reception. This place is normally fantastic, but one of the providers they have now is absolutely horrific. I could hear the provider being incredibly rude to an elderly man through the wall, and then she was the same way to me during our time together. Ruta Martaviciute acted like coming in for a minor illness was a MASSIVE inconvenience to her, even though that is the point of urgent care. I wouldn't waste my time going here. They're disorganized and don't actually seem interested in rendering effective care. When I went there today there weren't many patients, yet I waited for over 30 minutes to be seen. No one came so I left without seeing a physician. Now I'm waiting to just schedule to see my PCP. Waste of a trip.
