We went in to get tested for covid. Then after taking our cards they had to charge us on our credit card. Because it is fairly important that we get tested, and we were trying to find out ASAP if one of us had Covid we let them charge us. Finally they called our names to get tested. We expected to get tested and leave. However it seemed like after we got our Covid test they ranted about the various things wrong with my pregnant wife which they kept saying they needed to investigate (which conveniently would cost more money)... read more

Don't bother making an "appointment" at this place for a Covid test. I had a 2:11pm appointment, got there at 2 and was told to call from the parking lot. A girl named Sam answered and said she needed to put me on a "brief hold." Ten minutes later my call kicked over to their automated system asking me to enter an extension. So I called again and said I had been on hold for 10 minutes and was told "there are a few people ahead of you" and that they would call me when they were ready for me. This was my first time coming to this clinical. I love how we can walk in and get what we need to get done; however , I didn't like how they messed up getting my results. I got a Varicella titer on Monday and the nurse practitioner said it processes in a day. It's been 3 days and I still haven't received my results back. It will be 4 days tomorrow. Due to this situation, I will not be able to do clinical's on time. I am very upset with my first experience in this clinic.

The Midwest Express Clinic in River Forest on Lake couldn't be worse. Unprofessional receptionist Bella was so rude to my daughter and I. It's always scary when an emergency medical situation occurs with your child and the receptionist made everything worse. I'd NEVER EVER go back again.

Started out okay, but ended poorly. Didn't diagnose of have any sense of urgency around a suspected appendicitis. Kept sending him for tests that couldn't be done in a timely matter. Refused to give results over the phone and made him come in for the test results to be shared (albeit during Covid). There was ZERO sense of urgency around his case. While waiting for the test date he decided to go to the ER instead. ER found the matter urgent and immediately sent him for imaging. Turned out to be a ruptured appendicitis.... he ... read more

The doctor banged on my injury so hard I'll give her credit to see if fake but she enjoyed it. Their medicine is stale did not work. They were my 1st urgent care and what a bad impression. The medicine didn't even ease pain while there- It never worked-It's probably going out their back door. This she-doctor was a jerk. Gave me no take home instructions, etc.

Unbelievably bad. Called ahead to ask whether specific test (pertussis) was available at this clinic, because 1) outbreak in the community, 2) knew I was exposed, 3) having the symptoms of that disease. As a physician, I trusted that if the receptionist on the phone said pertussis testing was available, and then I entered "pertussis testing" as a chief complaint on the check-in iPad, and AGAIN on the mobile survey, then at least the person rooming me would ask about that. I had blood drawn on 12-26-19. Today is 1-6-20. I have not received the results. I have contacted the clinic in River Forest several times. Only to be told that my blood test results are on hold. On 1-4-20 I was told that I would receive a return call regarding the reason my blood test results are on hold. However, I never received that call. I have a very painful medical condition. I need the results in order to treat the condition correctly. I strongly recommend avoiding Midwest Express Clinic. I feel totally disrespect... read more

Maybe because it was a Sunday but I don't think I'd even come back on a Monday! The medical tech who gave me the "pre-check" before I saw the Dr. was a disaster! She asked me about a meds I took, then kept asking me how to spell them because she couldn't find them in the list!!, then when she went to take my temp she put the thermometer in my mouth without the safety cover, and said oops!
