It started with the toyota white pearl paint has a recall. We took the car in multiple times and we were told that it would be fixed just wait on our call. That has been 5 years that we have been waiting after taking it up there 3 times over the 5 years. I ended up sanding and painting the bad spots to stop the rust. I am having the worst experience trying to get my wife’s car fixed at Mike’s Shaw Toyota. The paint is pealing and I called Toyota USA & was told it’s a recall. Go to any dealer they said. I dropped my car off at an appointment with Mike Shaw to get my car looked at by the body shop for paint repair on 3/3/2023 and was told when I picked it up it would take awhile. I have been calling back monthly but how long do they expect me to wait??? I have called them dozens of times! this recall is going to end at some point!
